I think I may have had a lucky escape. I didn't realise I was dealing with Pirates as they hide behind some obscure copyright loop hole which in my naivety made me think they were legit. I previously bought THE MOD Squad entire catalogue from them (they were workign under a differnet name - look out for that) and over a third of the discs didn't work. It took a lot of e-mails before I got replacements and then the quality wasn't great - you could tell they were recorded from TV (TV land etc) but I guess, with a lack of official release up to that point, that was along the lines of what I expected and at least I got to see the show. Fast forward to recently, I was looking for "Laramie" The classic Western show, and had bought the offical season 3 release from Timeless Media but my appetite was whetted and I wanted to see if I could find the other three seasons. I came across Planet DVD and didn't connect it was the same company as before. I ordered the show for $79US and waited. I e-mailed them several times to ensure they weren't being sent from China ( the MOD Squad came from there which was a huge surprise as I thought I was delaing with the US) and that the discs definitely would work. Had no response. The Internet payment was taken the day of the order on my Credit Card but checking today, having waited a few weeks, I noted that a week later they credited back my payment with no explanation as to why. I have contacted to ask if this means they have cancelled my order ( without informing me) but no response.

Anyway, at least I have lost no money but having read all these posts I realise I have had a lucky escape. I have also cancelled my Credit Card as I have concerns about their fraudulent activities and don't trust them to use my CC details further on down the track.

I am frustrated as I really want to see this show and I can't understand for the life of me why there are so many fantastic shows such as Laramie that are not being released in their entireity. If distributors were quicker to do this, these pirates would have no business and wouldn't be able to take advantage the way they do.

I suggest lobbying to companies like Timeless Media who do seem to have some sort of commitment to release some of the older rarer shows to hurry up and release more through official channels.
