Attempted Scam
Received a call from 'Ramon' today claiming I had applied for a Platinum Trust credit card. He explained that I would need to pay an $89 enrollment fee and that the card was not a Visa, MasterCard, Amex, Discover, etc.
When I told him I was interested and wanted to write down the information, and was actually checking up on them online. I began asking questions like, will Platinum Trust have access to my bank accounts and have the ability to withdraw payments each month without my express approval. He told me no, like it was a really stupid question to ask. I asked him how I was able to use the card, with a limit of $9000, if I was at a store or a website of my choosing. Ramon then hung up on me.
I guess they don't like questions. Stay away from them.

Phone Calls
I just had another phone call from Platinum Trust. They claimed they had recieved my information from a marketing partner. I asked who marketing partner was she would not tell me and in the end they hung up. I want my number taken off the list. It is register with the do not call registry anyway.

Charge my account without permission
Company called and told me about their product. I decided I did not want have the card. Never called to stop their actions. I week later I noticed a $89.00 charge to my account. Legal action should be taken agains this company and many others have experienced the same acctivity. Calls have been able to contact them, had to call the bank and state the action was fradulent. What action is avilable against this company because we all incure costs associated with their actions.
