I'm Daniellie, I am a transgendered person. I tried to join plenty of fish 5 times and 5 times I was deleted. Despite I identify myself as woman, I have no intention in "tricking" anybody as I disclose my sex, gender and sexual orientation in my profile.
POF deleted my profile after a few hours. I contact POF.com to ask why and I received a letter from a person named Sarah. The letter says nothing.
I never violated any terms. I’m not a spammer, I’m not an escort, I didn’t advertise anything or used improper images.
In my opinion the free dating system POF offers is heavy in discrimination against sex/gender variants.

Plentyoffish.com is absolutely one the tackiest, hypocritical, and worst sites to join.

If one is looking for a real relationship, then one should pass this site up, in a hurry.

There are only flings to be had here, with hollow men and women.

In that case, people can just go straight to craigslist.com, since CL is free.

I happen to know these things for a fact.

Last year, a close friend of mine, who is quite beautiful and physically extremely desirable, joined the site and posted recent, tasteful pictures of herself. In her profile, she made it quite clear what she will and will not abide by, the type of relationship she sought( long term with a monogamous man), et cetera. In return, she received responses and messeges, literally 40 seconds after she joined. But of the three consecutive men she met and dated, from that site, NONE of them were anything close to what they claimed to be on their profiles. Alas, they all requested sex on the first date.

The site claims to ban and kick off all " inappropriate" users and rif-raf.

How is that the case, when virtually all the users ONLY want a quickie fling? And post obsene pictures and send abusive messeges, when women reject them? Isn't that where the term RIF-RAF enters the scene and the site( Hello, Plentyoffish.com and Mr. Markus).

However, that is not the end of this story.

My friend repeatedly received messeges from users without pictures, despite having set her e mail notification settings to NOT out through any messeges without the user's photograph). When she dared to complain, to the staff, she was unceremoniuosly banned permanently removed from the site, for good. NO warning, NO explanation. When she repeatedly attempted to contact the site's staff, she was disregarded. Subsequently, and independent of the site, she met an older man. About eight months later, when she visited the site, from a different computer, she accidentally ran across the profile of a particular man, who had joined the site, listed himself as a "twenty-year old" man, despite his pictures that showed his age and the fact that he was far too overweight and OLD to be twenty, versus the near-sixty that he really was( shame on you, Plentyoffish.com). She stared at the man's profile. She was staring at her boyfriend's pictures. His profile not only listed him as "twenty-year old, " but also stated that he was seeking erotic e mails and bondage sex.

No, not a bit of rif-raf on Plentyoffish. Imagine that.

And now, the site is CHARGING for the pleasure of meeting cheating boyfriends, sleazy sexual encounters and those seeking bondage sex. Way to go, Plentyoffish.

plenty of fish is a dating site full of predators, liars, losers jerks and creeps.. who aer ALL allowed to have their profile up with no problem...allowed to harass abuse intimidate users at will...and yet people who've done nothign wrong have their profile removed for no reason and are scammed by POF..and targeted wrongly. I know my profile was removed from POF years ago--for no reason and they wouldnt give an explanation--btw who rae the goons who run the website? they are very unfair and stupid people...mny years later--finally i got back up on the website successfully...met a horde of losers, jerks...had been harassed by lots of mean guys for no reason...and had to report abuse several times...was even called by one guy many times who was stalking me...i think my ex boyfriend got on POF and called them and made up lies about me...next thing i know my profile was removed...and everytime i create a profile, it gets removed...I wrote to POF and got a message that...they did it for 'reasons' they can't disclose...so with POF...every predator, rapist, sociopath pedophile and psychopath is allowed to harass abuse others with no problem and malicious ex bf's are allowed to badmouth ex gf's and get their profiles removed...way to go you low lifes who run POF...you must be as evil as the jerks you allow on your place while you ban women for no reason...sickos...

Someone has used my identity and is posting inappropriate comments about my sexual preferences and activities which I find highly offensive. This is tarnishing my good reputation not only in my private life but my professional one too. I would like to be removed from this website immediately as I do not want to be associated with this type of company.

The person who created Plenty of fish discriminates people.I am russian girl Marya who is studying in UK and registered there just to find friends and learn more about the english culture, didn't have any bad intensions.When i opened the list of reasons for reporting someone, one of the reasons was 'nigerian/russian/scam'!i wonder why...How come he has the right to show racism?Why should someone be reporeted only because they are from a certain country?There is so much abuse and rudeness and their accounts are still there.I deleted my account anyway.POF should be deleted!
