Plumber sent to fix toilet that was running intermittently. Told me toilet was old and should be replaced. Requested he fix running. He kept going into second bathroom to look at that toilet. Within 30 minutes of repair, toilet started running constantly and not flushing. Called company who sent another plumber who told me he didn't like to work on toilets he didn't fix initially. He just looked at the tank and adjusted the chain. Continued to run and not flush. Spoke with company supervisor, Jack, who said first plumber advised me since toilet was hold the work wouldn't be guaranteed. He never said that to me and nothing to that effect appears on the bill. He would not send another plumber out and when I told him it seemed like a handyman could fix a running toilet - he told me to call a handyman - which I did. The handyman took the mechanism apart and found that the part the first plumber installed was defective. He replaced it and the toilet is running fine.
