This is very hard to do as the breeder is a really nice lady however, what we have been put through with this finanical strain of our baby persian kitten. I don't want anyone else to have to go through this. My cat was born 7/20/09 If you have a kitten from this litter you may need to get to the vet. My kitten had FIP and died yesterday 3/12/10... He had been sick throughout the whole time I got him and had been to the vet numerous times.. She has had many calls from me complaining of him being sick over the period of time and mainly alot was due to his eyes.. sneezing, drinking water crazy, just latargic and not gaining weight.. he was so small.. she kept saying they tear up like that sometimes while they get older there face matures, well I didn't question it as she dealt more with with persians than me, however, I had told her his eye color had changed from the gorgeous blue to a red looking color, she told me I am crazy but it was true.. The vet suspected FIP then... then the big money set in taking care of him, We spent over 1000.00 bucks on him over a 6 month time frame. If you have ever owned a persian you will bond with them like no other as you will have to groom them reg so you really get attached quickly..I am not going to say anything here that is not a fact... Well I sent her a message saying he had died but in her contract, she doesn't cover FIP but yet she won't let you get the immunization for it when they are young. Well she sent me a message this morning replying to my email and said that she had gotten rid of my kittens mom due to her putting out kittens with tearing. To me that was a slap in the face as I had complained about it the whole entire time among other issues...It was a slap in the face, she had also sent me a message after me telling her my kitten was suspected with FIP she said well I would've covered him but she didn't feel that generous as I was ugly with her, I am assuming you would be ugly to after 6 vet visits and giving meds his whole life.. anyway that was my expierence.. I am sure she has put out some gorgeous cats but I would be hesitant to buy just because of my problem cat...Personally if she offered to replace mine I wouldn't take it just because I know the background especially after speaking with my vet, she made this my fault, he was a happy kitty the whole time... Please if you decide to buy a cat please please make sure you check these breeders out...
