My husband and I purchased 19 Ply Gem premium replacement windows, at a cost of about $10, 000 on April 7th, 2010 from a seller/ installer contractor called Metro Tech Exteriors from Fremont Nebraska after a long and thorough process of research. We compared 6 main window replacement companies and their products and felt Ply Gem offered a high standard window we could expect great performance from. In addition to that their Lifetime Limited Warranty was better than ANY OTHER company we could find. We were told if we were unhappy with our windows and they broke or had any issues they would come out replace the part or window at no charge for ANYTHING. The very first Iowa thunderstorm, we had leaking windows on our entire west side of our home. We even have a video of them leaking in multiple places. Since then we have gotten nothing but poor communication, delay after delay and they are not going to fix anything!!! We begged them to just replace them and they will not. We even had a wedding in our home in Aug. where I worried every time it rained we would see water coming into our home. This company, manufacturer, and seller contractor are going in circles and giving us the run around. This was in April, 2010, it is now Sept 2010, still no resolution!
