I made a deposit that they said was denied my bank statement proved otherwise pokerstars told me i had to wait 10 days well 14 days later im still hearing that i have to wait 10 days ----- info for others the bank they use is VENTURE FEDERAL CREDIT UNION IN A.Z U.S.A THE PHONE # IS 1-866-330-4141 HAVE YOUR TRANS. # FROM YOUR BANK TALK TO THEM FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE BBB AND THEN FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE US ATTY GENERALS OFFICE GIVE THEM AS MUCH INFO AS POSSIBLE TO HELP THEM IN THIER INVESTIGATION THEN WE CAN FILE A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT THERES GOT TO BE A LAW FIRM THAT WOULD LOVE TO HELP ITS BIG MONEY ON THE LAWSUIT

Warning to all Hold them poker players: This site is is using fixed software to determine outcome of poker tournaments! I have played hundreds of times and seen the pattern where the small stakes are loosing to the big stakes approx 90% of the time. Two reasons for that. First, each small stacked player eliminated counts towards shortening the duration of the tourney. Second the eliminated player will buy in in a new tourney, spending more money, making more profit for the poker site.
I want you to ask yourself, if they are doing this, then what is to stop them from doing other things which will increase their profits and steal your money. What about they set up for their player or even a virtual player/bot to win the tournament giving them 100% of all the entries fees. Their software can be manipulated to do just about anything and we players are the victims. During tournament play, I also noticed the most amazing bad beats which in ten years of playing live casino poker I have never, ever seen! They operate offshore with no control from anyone! I cannot comment on cash games as I do not dare play those! I have send an email to 60 minutes to see if they could investigate. I encourage other players/victims to post on this site and the net. Be warned Full Tilt poker is just as bad!

Discrimination
Pokerstars is the most biased organization I have ever experienced. Their staff members (especially their moderators) target players and discriminate against them at will. They violate their own company policies and make up policies as they wish. They are truly the most unprofessional, incompetent, and inconsiderate organization on the web today. If you express yourself openly and communicate your dislikes or concerns about their site and poker games, then consider yourself targeted. I won't even bother to go into details about their rediculous hands and constant bad beats because anyone who has played on their website already knows. This organization takes the fun out of poker and completely turns it into a joke! I would highly recommend seeking out other poker websites and avoid the frustration you will absolutely experience from this ghetto site. Thanks

i wish to bring to your attention the self claimed largest poker site online.pokerstars can some one from your company please observe the goings on during sit and go tournaments. 90 % of the time towards the mid to end of the tournament no matter what whole cards you have the player with the highest chip count wins. i have no doubt that this is purely to finish the tournament within a certain time frame to free up players to spend more money in other tournaments. i have made 3 complaints to the company concerned an have been fobbed off with our shuffle has had this and that test and is deamed to be fair. i have no doubt that these test have been done and have in fact veiwed these documents, however i have been playing and watch this consistantly happen to myself and other players. please as a consumer just have someone with more knowledge and ability to see this for themself. i am not the greatest poker player in the world and play for fun, i don, t mind losing or having a bad beat now and again but at this level it is nothing short of ripping off the very customers that pay thier salary. thank you.

Stole Money from my Bank Account - refuse to refund

I am writing this to warn people about using POKERSTARS.COM

Earlier this week I tried making a deposit using E-check, which I have done many times before. I got an email saying that my transaction was declined, which was strange because I have never had a problem before. I tried it again and once again it was declined.

I didn't think much of it, and paid bills online instead of spending the money on poker which was probably smarter anyway.

A couple days later to my surprise I check my bank account and see a transaction had actually gone through from Pokerstars, and that my bank account was in the negative.

It sucked, but it wasn't the end of the world I figured it wouldn't be too hard to fix the problem right? WRONG

First I call the number listed on my bank account and its a "3rd party processing company" who said they would look into it and contact pokerstars and if there was a mistake made they would fix it.

I also emailed Pokerstars explaining what happened, that they declined my transaction and I received no money on my poker account, yet they charged my bank account, causing it to be negative

After no response, I finally get an email from Pokerstars that they were contacted by the payment processor, but that since I requested the money it was a valid charge.

I replied explaining that yes I requested the money, but it had been declined from THEM, that I received no money, so no money should be taken out of my bank account.

It has now been 5 days, and it has been a NIGHTMARE dealing with them.

Just a warning to EVERYONE out there be very careful when you deal with Pokerstars. I have done everything possible to try to "assist" them in their help to refund my money but I feel like I have no option but to file a claim with my bank.

In my opinion I would warn everyone to NEVER use them, and if you do don't give them access to your bank or credit cards

They have no customer service number, so you have to email them everything, and they take forever to respond and when they finally do they just repeat the same nonsense over and over again. I should copy and paste some of the emails they sent me which make no sense whatsoever I'm just so tired of dealing with this.

No free play
Well, I signed up for Pokerstars using the ' free' start bonus from Pokerstrategy. I added USD 100 with my credit card to avail of a possible additional bonus. After a few months I found out I'm not that good at poker, so I decided to quit. I had consumed my USD 50 from Pokerstrategy, so I just wanted my USD 100 back. Guess what. I had been playing with my own money, not the USD I got ' for free' from Pokerstrategy. Thanks Pokerstars!
