12/01/2009 - Went up to the Information/Customer Service desk to ask to hold a purse I liked till close of business. Customer service lady ask the Security man to see what I wanted. He stated it is store policy not to hold accessories, shoes, etc. I mentioned that Orlando stores are happy to hold items till close of business for a sale.
He is not the Store Manager, he never called over the Store Manager. He had a tongue piercing and could not even speak well. I feel that Ross Dress for Less should have the same policies and good customer service that Orlando exhibits at all Florida stores.
Are is one store policy different from another?
You lost a sale today, and small that it might have been, it would have gone towards your quarterly/yearly financials.
