Posted a package on 04/18/2008 (Parcel Post) at:
Post Office-Hilldale Station,
601 Sawyer Ter,
Madison, WI 53705
Weight of the parcel: 10 lb. 5.0 oz
Postage Fee Paid: $12.75 (at the USPS counter).
From: Madison WI 53705.
To: Charlotte, NC 28262.
Items in the parcel:-
1). Traditional Clothes.
2). 2 Family reunion video cd's.
3). Musical audio cd's.
4). Few personal gift items.
Worth of the above items: $300
Its been 25 days so far, and never received the destination.
USPS is unsure of the parcel's where-abouts? Still USPS requires more time to delivery the parcel?
USPS should take the responsibility for loosing the parcel.
Desired Outcome:-
Firstly I request USPS to track and deliver the parcel either to Sender or Receiver.
If not, I request USPS to take the responsibility and pay the worth of parcel items ($300.00) which is supposed to delivered to the recipient.
* We lost out most valuable sweet memories of our family reunion vcd and traditional clothes.
NOTE:- This is the second time that I am experienced in the last 10 months. During June/2007 the parcel which I sent to a friend in Philadelphia received the mail with contents missing. I requested USPS to open an incident, but was later denied to proceed any investigation due to lack of USPS's Additional Services.
