On 3/16/2010 I took my Toyota 4Runner to Precision Tune located at 2740 Wesley Chapel Rd., Decatur, GA 30034 for check engine light diagnosis & repair.
After diagnosis, I was told that the problem was a bad - O2 Sensor Bank 1.
The repair was performed and I was charged $362.59, which I paid.
There was one year warranty on part and labor.
2 months later, the car failed Georgia Emission Inspection. We took the car to a mechanic for diagnosis. The mechanic notified us that the check Engine light bulb had been tampered with in order for the light not to come on. The mechanic replaced the bulb and the check engine came on.
We took the car back to Precision Tune and told them that they never fixed the car in the first place. They just tampered with the bulb in the dashboard to hide the light.
Precision Tune refused to honor the warranty and fix the car. This time they wanted me to pay for another $400.00 repair because, based on their new diagnosis, the Air flow is now bad.
Precision Tune at Wesley Chapel has not been honest and they have a big ethic issue.
I will not recommend this location to anybody and I will fight this all the way to court if necessary unless I either get my car repaired or I get my money back.
