This company is essentially stealing from people and sighting their own records as evidence contradicting the consumer's denials
Noticed an unusual charge to my AT&T account for $9.99 for a predictive news game. Investigated and realized it was a phone game whereby participants predict the outcome of news events, earning or losing points in their account based on the outcome of their predictions. The service is accessed by mobile phone texting. Since my wife was receiving unsolicited texts on her phone and simply deleting them she thought nothing of it until we noticed the suspicious charges on this and last months bill. I texted a STOP message to the company and then called their customer service. A person in India gave me the usual 'sorry about that you idiot' response in as much as they claim that in order to signup for the service one must resend to their text with a return text including a pin number. Since neither my wife nor I even have pre-paid texting service on our phone it is not possible that ever happened. The company is sticking by their position that we voluntarily signed up for the service based on records specific to their company. In other words, we are obviously lying and we can go to hell. AT&T has been kind enough to refund our money, which was a nominal amount. Given that our normal bill is many pages long it is possible we could have continued this scam for many months without realizing it. This company is essentially stealing from people and sighting their own records as evidence contradicting the consumer's denials.

Scam
I was getting these odd text messages from Predicto.com, I wasnt even aware of who they were or how they got my number to text me. I stopped the texts from coming in by responding STOP. Than I got another text stating: You will no longer be charged for this service. What service, who the *** were they? Well a few days later I recieved my cell phone bill...to find a charge of $9.99 to PredictoMobile, plus a huge casual data use of 2016 KB with a charge of $60.48. My cell phone company deleted the fees, but PredictoMobile should be stopped.

Charges to cell phone bill
I accidentally signed up for Predictomobile while playing a game on FB. They asked for my cell # to continue the game, and I didn't read the fine print before I gave it to them(I was trying to get the the "game"). When I got a text msg on my cell, I immediately texted back and canceled. Same day w/in 30 min. This month I got a charge for $9.99. I called Alltel, who sent another Stop as did I. Then I called Predicto. Alltel said I'd get a credit on my acccount, but the rep at Predicto said they would send a check authorized today. I would get it in 10-15 days. I asked why so long. I'll believe it when it clears the bank. I will report them to the FCC. You do the same, please.

UNAUTHORIZED CHARGES
This company says it attached charges to my cell phone number because I signed up for their service. I never herd of Predictomobile before so I asked my daughter if she signed up for the sight, and she claims she did not. They say I signed up for their service on 05/30/2009 and they send a pin number to your cell phone to verify on their sight. I am the only one authorized to have any charges added to my cell phone but they claim I did. I called their service number and got some lady who told me she does not do refunds because they can prove I signed up for the service online. I always use my credit card for any online service and would not choose to have money added to my cell phone bill. This all comes on the heals of the same number being charged by Mobile Messenger, another pay service I found on my last months and this months billing. I didn't authorize those charges either and they are refunding my payments after I called their service number. I called today on 07/01/2009 and told them to stop this service and had all premium text services blocked on my cell phone from my provider. I bet I will get charged for this entire month of July since it was a new month. I'll see on next months bill. US Cellular says it is 3rd party charges and they just add it to my bill. Don't pay the charges and you lose your service. This is fraud one way or another and they have stolen my money for services I never asked for. It's $9.99 a month. I work construction and like everyone in that field am seriously hurting for cash since housing is down, why would I give some service 10 bucks a month to do online surveys?? I googled both companys names online and got pages of complains just like mine. Your cell phone provider will not reverse the charges, and Predictomobile serves reps say all I had to do was text "STOP" and the service would be over but their is no outgoing text on my phone. Either way my moneys gone and Predictomobile is making millions from people like me haveing these bogus bills crammed on our phone bills!

unauthorized charges
I got my cell phone bill today and realized I was receiving a monthly charge from predictomobile for $9.99. I have called the company and got nowhere. I was told by their representative that if any charges were on my bill, my 12 y/o authorized them. I said a 12 y/o can't enter an agreement legally, and they basically told me I was wrong. They tried to say they text her: are you a minor and if so do you have your parents permission? Then apparently they can charge you whatever you want!!! My daughter said she never was asked these questions, and had no knowledge of signing up for any services!!! What a scam. This should not be allowed>>>>>
