I had this company recommended to me by my parents. The salesman came to my house to measure my windows and the next thing I know, he's taking me through a 4-hour, high pressure sales pitch. He quotes me one price at around $11, 000 for the high level windows and $10, 000 for medium. I decline. I just wanted an estimate and to compare them with other companies. He wanted to make a sale, so he lowered the price two more times to around $9, 500 for the high level windows. I took the deal and gave him a deposit check for 1/3 of the price, if for no other reason than to get the guy out of my house.
Almost immediately, I had second thoughts. I filled out the cancellation form the next day and sent it in. I then called Premier's office to confirm the cancellation, and the manager offered me yet another price (the "employee price" at around $7500). I said no.
I met with another company one day later. The guy had a 1 hour sales pitch and the price he offered for the exact same window was $5, 500. I took that deal and am very happy with it.
Two weeks passed and my deposit with Premier hadn't been returned (I found this out when I bounced a check). I called the company and spoke to the same manager who said "he wasn't aware that I'd canceled the order". I asked for him to cancel it again. Another 10 days passed, still no returned check. I called them again and spoke to the same manager AGAIN and he said the exact same thing. I ordered him to cancel it AGAIN. Hopefully it will work this time.
Basically, I'm complaining for three reasons... 1) Their salesman was extremely rude and high pressure. 2) They set their window prices artificially high so when the drop the prices you get the feeling that you did well, even though other companies offer the exact same quality product for much less. 3) Their customer service is extremely two-faced and inept.
