Request to look into fraudulent proposal and deed of Airtel's process.
Respected sir/madam,
I hereby wish to bring into your notice that on 09/11/2007 a tele caller, claming to be Mr.Sameer from Airtel ,called me on my cell(9892660107) to inform me that my cell number was selected for a special prepaid scheme ie:Diwali Bonanza plan 199 value,for which I had to give 2 copies of my photograph,driving license's xerox and residence proof (ration card's xerox)along with Rs.99 as activation charges and Rs.500 as refundable security deposit.Plan offered was as below:
Refill of Rs.199/month would fetch me full talk time of Rs.199/=
100 SMS free per. month,100 local calls free/month,
Airtel to Airtel-30paise/min.Airtel to other services-50 paise/min.,
STD charges 99paise/min.
As the plan was very attractive Ireadily accepted.This was confirmed by Mr.Santosh by the cell no.9967865154.Mr.Sameer approached me to collect the documents.He gave me a form (Serial no:B 062289)and requested me to fill it up.I handed him over the above said documents along with the filled form,Rs.99/=in cash and Rs.500/=by cheque,crossed but with out payee's name as it was requested by Mr.Sameer.During the process when I refused to give cheque with out payee's name, Mr.Sameer contacted his superior Mr.Santosh, he also requested me to do so as it would hassen the activation.I bowed to the request assuming that people from such a good service provider Airtel would never cheat me.They promised me to activate the scheme as the cheque was
realized on third working day. But when there was no activation on third day I checked my last ten transactions at my ATM and was amused to find that it was realized in the acount of some SHAISTA B Q at IDBI Bandra-west insted of Airtel's account . Realizing some thing fishy I inquired about the scheme at Airtel prepaid and post paid services only to find the offered scheme was bogus.Realizing that I had been cheated of Rs.599/=and the above said documents I approached Customers Care unit of Airtel at Chakala-Andheri(east) on 20/11/2007 at 3:45p.m.and logged a complain regarding this. When contacted by Customers Care representative their team leader Mr.Sufiyan Soudagar(Alkasha Airtel-DSA,Panvel) agreed that something very wrong and fraudulent had happen from his process and started barganing for peace.But I agreed only on my documents back within 3 days & money back within a week.
Still waiting to get my documents and money back, I fear they would miss use my documents elsewhere,so I request you to look into the matter in your earliest convenient time and free me from the clutches of these thugs.
