I NOTICED PRICELIMBO HAVE TAKEN £5.91 + 1.50 SERVICE CHARGE FROM MY BANK! ALSO BETTERNUTRITION HAVE TAKEN £63.18 + 1.50 SERVICE CHARGE. PLUS PRICE SAVERS HAVE TAKEN £5.77 +1.50 SERVICE CHARGE. AND THEN TRIALOFFERSITE HAVE TAKEN £62.38+1.50 SERVICE CHARGE. NEVER HEARD OF THESE, BUT WHEN I PUT THE NAMES IN GOOGLE THEY ALL COME UP WITH THE SAME SCAM "ACAI BERRY" ARE ALLL OF THESE CONNECTED? IS IT ONE COMPANY TRAIDING UNDER DIFFERENT NAMES? THEY HAVE ALLL STOLEN MONEY FROM MY BANK ACCOUNT!!!

I sometimes do on line surveys and get paid for them ( vouchers or products). In December I thought I was filling in a survey about slimming products, but it turned out to be a link to a company called Acai Berry. I had given my bank details thinking that was for payment to me but then discovered it was for a free trial. I did not see any Terms & Conditions when the submit button was pressed only after. I gave this some thought and decided to contact the company the next day to find out more about them and cancel, as the credit crunch is taking it's toll this is something I do not need. I just got the answering machine after calling at 10-10:30pm GMT and Midnight GMT. I managed to find an address for them and sent a letter asking them to cancel. I did not hear from them, but during the Christmas holidays a company called PRICE LIMBO took some money from my bank account using my card details.
Please can you tell me who they are and how do I cotact them as I have never heard of them. As you will see I'm British and live in the UK and would like to be able to write or e-mail these people to find out why they took money from me.

I, like everyone else in the complaints, was charged for shipping and handling with my credit card for a "sample" of Acai berry. I did not receive the sample until I was on the road travleing for my job. When I returned and found a shipment of the product and a charge for over $80 to my bank account, I called them and told them I had been out of town and they said too bad, they are able to send it out and charge you for it to the account you charged the shipping and handling to and there is nothing you can do to get a refund.

Then a few days later I noticed an odd $8.51 charge to my bank account. I called the number the was attached to the transaction and got Price Limbo. I had never heard of them and had no clue what they were doing charging my account. Apparently when you sign up for the SAMPLE with Acai Berry, you are also signing your life away. Every month they have charged my account $8.51, I have called and they have told me they have cancelled my account and are sending a refund. Every month around the 29th through 1st of the month, there is another charge of $8.51. I make another call and receive the same information. Today I called and was pretty much blown off as usual with a "confirmation number" of the cancellation and the promise of a full refund of $8.51 for the months Aug, Sep, Oct, Nov and Dec. I asked when I should expect it and she, "Jen, " told me 3 to 5 days I should see it in my account, at lesat by January 2. I am going to have to get a totally new debit card in order to make it where they can no longer charge my account monthly. I am anxiously awaiting the refund and no further charges. This month the business name associated with the charge was not price limbo but price savers. "Jen" told me she had no clue what that was - but oddly enough, the amount is still $8.51. Why are these people able to do this to people and you hear their commercials on the radio several times a day. I don't understand how they can get away with it.

I too was scammed by the acai berry 14 day free trial!! I am still trying to get that refund back!!! They sent the product out the day the trial was over!!!

Now, I have tried getting a hold of price limbo to stop charing me $8.50 a month and refund the charges and NO ONE WILL EMAIL ME BACK with even a general reply or tell me they stopped the monthly charges.

HOW DO YOU GET A HOLD OF THESE PEOPLE TO CANCEL!!!

i had ordered the product acterie berry and it didnot work i canceled in aug. but each month since aug. my account is being charged 8.51 i keep calling pricelimbo number and they say it is cancelled and i will be refunded but it has not happened yet i called again today dec.8 2008 and was told the same thing. i expect a refund of $43.06 to my account today. please call me at 219 374-4325. or nanny [email protected]
