scam site
I clicked on a link from my facebook home page. It was one of these new online auction or bidding sites. The site is PriceShuffle.com I thought if it's on my Facebook it must be ok. WRONG. If I had only done a search on the name of the site before going there. Try it you will find hundreds of these same complaints and you are feeding your Facebook family to them and so is TWITTER. They need to be removed from both sites and they need to be exposed for the scam they are.

You click it says register, so I did. It ask for credit card info when you register. I thought it would be like EBay so I filled in my name, address, phone and credit card. Clicked ok to send and started checking out the site. Not much mostly just small stuff they advertised bigger items but I didn't see any at that time. The next day I'm checking my online banking and find a 149.75 pending transaction from PriceShuffle.com. I call them to see what this is. They tell me when I registered and entered my credit card info that I automatically authorized the debit from my card. I tel them no I didn't and I didn't buy anything to authorize this. So they debit my account 149.75 and now I'm having to to try to get my money back. This site needs to go and Facebook should be more aware of the advertising they allow and check out the sites and companies to ensure there customers are not being misled or led to slaughter... If you want proof do a search and read the hundreds of same reports...Or better yet go to the site and register for yourself...

theives
I am not alone in getting ripped off by this company. The site is designed to draw your attention to the area where you register to "join now" where, if you fill in the information required to join and check the agree to terms box...like most of us normal people do, without reading all the way through...the company's defaulted selection of 300 bids is pre-selected for you and you end up being charged $149.75 for 300 worthless bids. The auctions that are running are mostly items worth less than $25.00; for which you must pay an average of $10 shipping should you "win" the auction. When an auction is close to ending, each bid adds more time to the clock so that the final 10 seconds could end up taking several hours...also driving the final winning price up. I have even watched some auctions "end" and then magically another 8 or 10 minutes got added to the timer! The products are not refreshed quickly when an auction ends, so there may be as few as like 3 live items for quite a long time; and it seems the most frequently offered items are things like dietary supplements and more bid packs...where is the "good stuff"? Like all the others who voiced their complaints here, I fought with this company to try getting my money back within an hour of learning my money had been stolen and was told their terms and conditions are clearly stated...no refunds. I finally settled for a 50% refund as I need to replace the funds in my bank account quickly and they would not agree to a full refund, even though I had not used any of the 300 bids. They also gave me another 100 bonus bids. Whoopie...the site sucks and there's nothing I want to bid on! They are theives. Their FAQ's say they play fair, but they don't. I have complained to the attorney generals of my state and CA, where this site operates from. We need to get a class action suit going people...can anyone help?

I GOT A REFUND FROM ELI
Call priceshuffle.com Number is on the site at the bottom where it says contact us.

Tell them you want a full refund. No matter what they say, even if they offer a partial refund, say no thanks..."I will call my bank and dispute this...then I email the FTC and the attorney general for CA and your state. Also tell them that you will be posting all of this online. Tell them your call is being recorded as well, as you will be looking into a pending class action law suit.

They will issue a full refund trust me, they issued a full refund for me and I received it in 3 days. They will ALWAYS issue a refund if they think you will dispute the charge. This site is a scam. Do not take anything less than a full refund, if not dispute it and tell your bank that the charges were not on the site and the button to agree to the terms was pre-checked. So in fact you did not agree to anything. This happened to me. DISPUTE FTC ATTORNEY GENERAL and if they do not refund CONTACT THE GLENDALE, CA POLICE DEPARTMENT and ask to speak to a DETECTIVE.

EVEN THOUGH THEY REFUND THEY ARE CON ARTISTS THAT PAY UP WHEN THEY MEET SOMEONE SMART ENOUGH TO CALL THEM ON THEIR CON.

THESE PEOPLE SHOULD BE IN FEDERAL PRISON. CONTACT FTC AND ATT GEN...I am doing so at a rate of 3 letters a day, and I will keep doing this for years. Stay tuned because I will have their REAL ADDRESS Soon. I know they are in Glendale, CA

Ripoff
I also went to this website and viewed it and wanted to see what it was all about. I put in credit card info, but it never gave me a chance to confirm, it automatically charge my card. I have emailed numerous times, but only got them to give me more bids, which I didn't want. Well after no success, I decided I might as well try to win an auction, since the bids are only good for 60 days and I could not get my money back. I have watched and participated in an auction for a Kindle since 10am and it is now 8pm. An all day process, but I still could not win anything. I have used 155 bids and still get nothing.

This website is the biggest ripoff all the way around. One they won't give you your money back when you didn't even intend on using the site and when everything else fails you try to bid on something and you can't win there .

Illegal Charge to Credit Card
PRICESHUFFLE is completely bogus site that tricks users into making a purchase that they do not authorize. When attempting to check out the site by being enticed with 100 free bids, the site requests credit card info (assumed to be for successful auction purchase). The site is ONE BIG SCAM...stay away from this site and all the penny auction sites...they are scams.
