Have you ever been shocked with an additional $400 cell phone bill before? Well, if you haven't, I have. You may want to read this so that it won't happen to you.

I had been with Primus for a while as my long-distance carrier until I got a shocker on my T-Mobile cell phone statement for an additional $400. for long distance charges. T-Mobile had charged me over a $1 a minute for several calls to Iran. I have always used Primus 800 number to make calls overseas. When I called Primus for explanation, after denial by their representative and trying to put the blame on T-Mobile, she finally said that if I had "accidentally" pushed any other button other than the # sign to complete the call, it would automatically transfer me to T-Mobile tower which then will charge me their rates. She added that several of their customers have had the same problem before and got stuck with big bills. Wow! What a hoax! Did you ever tell me or the others this when you sold me the service, "I asked?" And why this never happened to me before after so many times using the same 800 number?
My subsequent calls to primus was ignored and never returned by Primus and I couldn’t convince T-Mobile that I had used Primus’s 800 number and, consequently, was stuck with the unjustified bill of $400.
Moral of the story, don’t trust Primus or be fooled by their low prices. They are not to be trusted and soon or late you will get the taste of their “disingenuine business practices.”
