On June 9, 2008 I was checking the web for best and lowest prices on a Caribbean Cruise beginning on November 2nd from Ft. Lauderdale, FL. I found a company called Cruise Compete and sent them all the information regarding the cruise which was for four balcony cabins and on outside cabin. Several minutes later I got their reply with three separate offers. Among these was an attractive proposal by Cruises-N-More (an American Express Agency). I responded to the offer which appeared in the email in bold red lettering that if we were to book with them now, the rate for the entire package was $9325.90, which broken down for 10 passengers, made the rate $932.50 per person. The person that I dealt with was named Karen and she assured me that the rate included all taxes, fees and fuel surcharges. I then proceeded to advise the members of my party and secured their credit card info, and other pertinent information and sent an email to Karen with all this data. The next day I got a phone call from Karen advising me that the price per passenger was $989.00 each. I protested and argued that the email from her compay was approximately $57 less. She had no explanation for the difference and I told her to check again and get back to me.
Again, a day later, I went through the same situation and we could not come to terms so I told her that unless I could get the cruise package at the price in the email, we would not be able to do business.
The next day I get an email from Bob Levinstein, CEO of Cruises-N-More giving me a song and dance about whomever was quoting on this specific sailing was incorrect and that if it happend again it was a computer issue. Well, guess what, it did happen again because I opened another acccount with them and got the same information.

I firmly believe that they are liars and fraudulently advertising rates for something that they can not provide. I advise anyone who look for cruise information, to avoid dealing with these people and more shockingly owned by American Express.
