Fraud
I joined Classmates which was fine however I didnt agree to join PVM123 they accessed my bank account twice in the amount of 39.90. How is it that they can get away with it. Ive contacted my bank and my Attorney General. Shame on Classmates and PVM123

Unauthorized membership
On Jan. 9th, 2010 we noticed a charge of $19.95 on our December bank statement. We called the phone number and could not get through with all the prompts. We went on-line and looked up Privacy Matters 123 and found a lot of complaints that had to do with Classmates.com. We had to go to the bank and cancel the card as we already had been charged for Jan.

unauthorized charges
On November 18, 2009, I was charged $24.95 for a membership that I never signed up for nor authorized charges to be taken out of my account. When I called to request the $24.95 be refunded back and the unauthorized membership be cancelled which they did refund me back for the November charges. However, when I was reviewing my account online, I noticed another $24.95 charged was taken out of my account after I requested the unauthorized membership to be cancelled. I immediately called them back and was told I was not entitiled to a second refund of $24.95. I got upset and was immediately connected to a supervisor whom I told the situation indicating that I was charged another $24.95 after the cancellation. I was immediately given another credit back of $24.95 and was told there would be no future charges taken out of my account. I informed this supervisor if it happens, I would be contacting a lawyer.
This company needs to be investigated, heavily fined and shutdown for good taking money out of peoples' accounts without their authorization. If I owned a business and did something like this, I would immediately be investigated, heavily fined, have my license revoked and shutdown well as have a lawsuit filed against me.

Unauthorized Billing To My Account
My boyfreind signed up with classmates.com two weeks ago and then yesterday a charged of $19.95 was posted to our account from Privacy Matters 123. Well, I immediately had him call our financial institution to have his credit/debit card cancelled. We did this because when you call privacy matters they ask for an authorization number, telephone number, or credit card number. First off, why would I have an authroization number if I didnt sign up with this fraudlent customer. Secondly, I told him don't even punch in your credit card number as more charges may be added to our account. So, our bank had us file a dispute form to investigate the incident (I hope this peice of shit company gets sued) and to try and get our money back (wish us luck). <br /><br />

I've also seen many complaints posted on this site about Classmates too. RIP OFF ARTISTS! We are also going to complain to the better business bureua and to the attorney general.<br /><br />

MY ADVICE... DONT sign up for these websites as they have 3rd party vendors who take your accounts and sign you up without your permission and take all your money. Be eyeful as to check your account every day twice a day. Use this complaint board as a research engine before you give out your credit card number. I knew this from the past but didnt think such a well know website as classmates would be so decieving. I for one will always use this board as a resource before giving out my personal and credit card information.<br /><br />

Privacy Matters/Classmates - RIP OFF
I agree, my boyfreind signed up with classmates.com and this charged just happened today on our account (privacym). I've also seen many complaints posted on this site about Classmates too. RIP OFF ARTISTS! Well, I immediately had him call our financial institution to have his credit/debit card cancelled. We are filing a dispute form through them as well to try and get our money back (wish us luck). We are also going to complain to the better business bureua.

Direct Withdrawal
This company somehow has directly withdrawn $29.95 for 7 months from one of our bank account. the best advise I could possibly give is to pay closer attention to the bank activity!
Isn't this fradulent? I never signed up with this company and they withdrew over $200 dls. from the account, without my approval!

unathorized charges
My husband noticed a charge on his bank statement that is did not know what it was for. So we called the phone number next to the charge and the company proceeded to tell me that my husband click on a banner on Sept. 10th and signed up with the company... I know that this is not true. He has never ordered or purchase anything online. We do not know how this company obtained his credit card number, they even had our phone number and current address. Companies like this should be put out of business.

cancelled, then charged again with out my consent.
I got charged from this company before and had to go through hell to get it cancelled. Now they have started charging me again with out me giving them any information or authorizing any charges. Why can't they shut down a company that illegaly takes money from someones account? If I steal from someone they will lock me up!

Being charged after I canceled my account
I open this account last year october of 2008 I called and canceled this account a few months later and I have been billed ever since 30.00 every month sometimes twice a month why are these people still in bussiness they are nothing but fakes who steal your hard earned money. Every time I think I have enough money they come along and take everything I left.
