My oversight but this company has been charging my credit card each month since January of 2010 at $16.95. After calling and having their operators confirmed that I've never signed up for any of their services, they would only issue a credit for one month. They refused to let me speak to or provide me with any names of management for me to contact. They told me they would submit my total refund request and I would hear back from them. Complete frauds, she was about to hang up when I asked how would them contact me since they didn't have any legitimate contact details.
Slippery slimy organization and I don't plan to stop complaining everywhere I can.

Purchased an InStyler via the internet (hoping to avoid all the sales pitches that went along with it). About a week later, got a call to inform me that the units had shipped and to give me a heads up on who to call in the event they didn't arrive. Was then asked if they could transfer me to another representative to confirm shipping details. Should have known SOMETHING was up. Got connected to some fast talking telemarketer who kept asking me to repeat myself and attempting to make me say "ok". I kept saying either "that's correct" or "that's right" to his questions. He'd rephrase and rephrase until I finally figured out I wasn't answering the way he wanted...figured I was being recorded and if I said "ok", then they could make that "ok" sound valid for ANYTHING. When I figured that out, I asked the guy if that was all he needed. He stopped and thought, then said, "I just need an 'ok' from you today". As soon as I heard that, I knew I was going down a rabbit hole. I just started to tell him I was not interested when my battery on my phone died. He never got my "ok", but that didn't stop them from charging my account for TWO SEPARATE MVQ items...MVQ PRIVACY ($29.95)and MVQ TRAVEL ($24.95).

Was told I'd get all sorts of coupons and a Walmart gift card ($25) and a gas voucher ($50). Got NONE of those items. When I didn't get them, I thought that I got away free and clear because I never said 'ok'. Surprise...I STILL got charged. Twice.

Was able to get the 'memberships' cancelled quite easily (automated canceling process...that should tell you something when it's automated), but cannot get through to a real person to inquire about getting either the membership fees back or the items promised (that would make the fees SOMEWHAT justifiable).

Have your membership # (good luck with that) or phone number ready (can also use the credit card # you used to 'set up the account with'...but I'd advise against giving this out because of the caliber of the people on the other end of the phone):

Checking out classmates.com to see if could locate a annual from my class of 72. never gave credit card info or signed up for anything. got charge on cc bill for privacymatters123 for $19.95. Called and after the run around button push game talked with someone about the charge, they said I signe up for it and I had to cancel within 7 days.

Credit card says the transaction date is 9/9 but my statement just came 9/29 and I saw the charge. Any I told them I did not agree to any on line service and I want the charges removed, which they say they will. I came home looked on line about this company and it seems by all the blogs that this it standard practice for this company. Please spend a few moments and check into this.

Identity theft of credit card number.

I was online trying to get my credit report as was advertised. Never received credit report, but a few days later on my bank statement I was charged $l.00 and an additional $29.95. I have been unable to get resolved, and am now continuously charged every month for a service I didn't require or authorize.
