Denesh Prasad manager of Priya's Auto Care Center business's here and in Oregon though not licensed here in Washington St. only Oregon. The business is under his mothers name Devi Sakunta to avoid taxes in washington . On Dec 15th I was given a business card through a friend of his we met and he agreed to fix my Chevy Tahoe (this of course before I knew he was not licensed here in Wash st). It was apparent the Radiator had blown and he mentioned the gaskets and valves were shot a thermostat and several other things I agreed to have him fix it all . Mr Prasad towed the car off in the middle of the night without my knowledge to his Parents were he resides and does his auto work out of in Des Moines . Mr Prasad had the car for aprox a week and a half as he knew I was a single mom and needed to get my son back and forth to school etc... urgency was imperative. It was aprox a week and a half when he came back with the bill I was shocked not only at the cost but that he had charged me $95.00 for towing I told him that why I pay for insurance so they can pay for that stuff he said"hey look here" I gave you half off the labor so don't complain shocked at his responce I let it go but only paid a portion of the bill as I had no other funds at the time he agreed that I could pay him in a month I had just lost my job and unemployment had not kicked in in fact I just got my first check March 15th. After about a week I had noticed the Check engine light was on and the car was running quite ruff in fact downright bad so I took it to the local college to the auto motive dept to have them check things out what they discovered dropped me to the floor not one thing had been worked on except that the radiator was put in that I purchased he even charged me to flush it hello its brand new... to my disappointment they wanted to thoroughly go through the entire car no thermostat had even been put back in just gone but I paid for one on the bill the car had no marks that it had been even touched they went in with bora scopes and diagnostic tests pictures etc, all the things they could and the conclusion "this man had not done one thing he had charged me for" in fact because I had continued to drive the vehicle it basically blew the engine the school wrote a full report and even said that they would go to court if need be. I knew at this point I needed more evidence so I brought it to the Dealership and had the same thing done a complete diagnostics test NOT to my surprise they came to the exact same conclusion and recommended a new engine to the tune of $4100.00 yikes so off to the police to make a report, the prosecutors office, attorney generals then to small claims court NOW YOU . I really want people to know that we as woman should not be bullied by these kind of men and it infuriates me that he thinks its okay to do this kind of thing to anyone of us you could be next PLEASE HELP get this man out of business and let the good guys get the work .
