Well it looks like I am not alone in the Pro Active scam. I ordered over the phone for my daughter, it did so, so. Then came another package then another package, both were refused and returned to sender. Called and canceled the membership I didn't enroll in. After I canceled the membership I no longer received any more product, but they continued to charge my credit card!! (two more times) for products that were not shipped to me. I went on-line to customer service and was told I would receive a refund of 39.90, when they owe me $51.80 total, for the bogus charges on my account.
Why doesn't the government step in and and shut this greedy, cheating company down? They step in to all other aspects of our lives without asking them to, but when we need protection from corrupt business practices from companies like Pro Active, they do nothing?

I am upset. when I orderd pro-active I told the lady that I did not want to be charged for another shipment so don't send one out, she told me I had to wait until I recieved the product to call in to cancel. I told her that would be kinda difficult seeming I have a very hectic life and I may not remember so why couldn't she put it in the system then, she said she couldn't. I had recieved a visa rebate card from a washer & dryer I purchased so I used that so if in fact they did charge me again and I did not remember to call to cancel it was just a visa rebate card so it didn't matter. Just as I figured they sent out another shipment without my consent and tried to charge me. I kept it for weeks unopened. I was sent a letter stating that I owed the money but ignored it because if she had done what I asked then everything would be fine. I finally decided to send the product back with a note. months later a collection company calls saying I owe $95.00. I told her I sent the product back so I owe nothing! but she was not trying to hear me and said it was going on my credit report. pro-active has been out for yrs. put it in the stores already!!! if it works... which it did for me the first time, but when I used it for a sec. time it didn't. Then you will still make your money!! I hate it when a company forces you into using they're product, and that is what they do. I know I sent the product back to the correct location and now they say I haven't...to me that is a scam! I am sure pro-active has a lot of fans and the product does work for many people. I am not blaming the product, but I am blaming the company.
