Please please please do not get Karl Buchendam of Ark Building Services, and now of Pro Build in Hull even around to your home, never mind let him start any work on it.

He has sent Ark Building Services into liquidation leaving many tradesmen unpaid and many home owners with loans taken out for work and work half completed and to poor poor standards due to him employing unskilled labourers and leaving them to build extensions etc and he drives around in a nice BMW and takes numerous Holidays abroad while people who trusted him are left to pick up the pieces.
He has been taken to court that many times with Ark that he has binned that company and has just set up Pro Build, how this is allowed to happen I have no idea.

He employs unskilled labourers and lets them build your extention
He charges for expensive refits and buys your kitchen from Ikea
He contracts tradesmen for work then makes up lies about the work not being upto scratch and refuses to pay
He advertised ARK as being part of the Federation of Master Builders for over a year and he has never been a member
Just before Ark went under he asked all of his existing customers for large cheques to 'complete work' then sent the company into liquidation the following week.
He WILL NOT answer your phone calls when there is a problem
He has no building or Site Managerial experience, apart from working on the counter at MKM until approx 2 years ago
His Dad has now set up Pro Build in his name to allow Karl Buchendan to carry on doing this to people

Please please please do not have anything to do with these companies or this man. We have learnt the hard way and although we have a court judgement in our favour his lies dragged it out for over a year and as we were awarded the £8, 000 he owes us he went bust.
