Horrible service! I walked in and not one person greeted me with a simple hello. When I walked up to the front desk the girl - who I assume is a Manger or possible owner of the establishment - throws a booklet at me and pretty much just asks what I want. I asked about manicures and their pricing - $10 for polish only and $25 for a spa manicure.
I told her that I wanted a spa manicure (my sister was with me and heard me say this). I was then given to a lady who was completely frazzled! I mean hair a mess, shirt was unkempt, with a frantic look on her face. She then leads me around the whole entire salon picking up nail polish and trying to sell me this and that. I haven't even sat down to get my nails done yet!
I pick out my nail polish and follow the lady to the corner of a large table. Then we sit down on the most uncomfotable stools. She then starts to give me a "manicure". Frantic and unorganized as she was, she was constatly getting up and sitting down - forgeting something or another, running to her car because she forgot this and that. Worst part was that I didn't get my spa manicure that I had asked for - I got my nails painted...thats it! I spent $10 for some one to paint my nails, the nail polish was $5 and I had tipped her $5 since she seemed to frazzled and I felt bad for her. So that whole experience actually cost me $20 for nothing!
Needless to say I will never go back to a Pro Files ever again! It's over-rated with the "Rockstar" slogans everywhere which really doesn't describle their services. The floors were dirty, the girls that were there to work were busy doing their own nails, the hair stylists were all on their lap tops or computers and I believe I only saw 2 other women in the salon with me.
Their whole facade was great but it seems like they were hiding behind the whole "trendy salon" gimmic with their lack of experience and know how - or should I dare say it talent! Maybe if they had a better knowledge of how to deal with clientele I'd go back...maybe.
