Not as Advertised/Incomplete Delivery
If you are planning to order from this place, there are some things you should know. You will not be receiving anything resembling the picture you see on the website. What you will receive is a bundle of tightly wrapped flowers with instructions on how to assemble your own arrangement. I ordered a "100 Rose Bud" or 30 stem arrangement. The instructions informed me that I should trim 2 inches off of each stem and peel off the "protective petals" from EACH bud. So, the message I sent my wife was "Happy Mothers Day, now get to work!". What was I paying for?

You pay for a "delivery" charge, which I believed to be from a florist. It was "delivered" in a box by UPS after riding all day in a hot truck. Then, after unwrapping and assembling this thing, I had actually received 65 buds and 16 stems that were nearly all dead within 5 days.

I will say that they replaced the order and got it right, but, it kinda lessens the surprise when the order is so screwed up to begin with.

Shipping Charge
I got an additional charge a month after I ordered flowers for my niece online and didn't sign up for anything.

Poor quality, excessive delivery charges, fake free shipping offer
I've been married 46 years and wanted a lovely gift for my wife for Valentine's daY. Tulups are her favorites and the photo was beautiful.

"20 assorted tulips, $29.95 with free vase." Baloney!

When I at first placed the order there was a charge of $6.99 for the vase, a type of which you can buy at the "99 Cents only Store" for a buck. So I dropped that part of the order.

Even though the shipping costs added $20 I accepted them because a large pop-up box also said "this order qualifies for shipping rebate." Not so! To get A shipping rebateON THIS ORDER you have to become AUTOMATICALLY subscribed to a $9 /month service that gives you shipping rebates (NOTE: rebate takes 6 to 8 weeks to be returned to you) ONLY WHEN YOU BUY OTHER STUFF FROM OTHER COMPANIES such as Macy's and others.

The flowers that arrived were so small I thought they were miniatures. They were un-opened tulips that were so "droopy" they wouldn't stand up in our vase!

Stick to WalMart and Ralphs. At least you can see what you're getting instead of BEING GOTTEN!

Add on charges
I ordered a bouquet for my Mother, who is in a nursing home in another state. Since that time, other companies somehow affiliated with the ProFlowers.com website have been adding charges onto the same credit card I used for the flowers. Also, I have been flooded with spam email. While ProFlowers has removed the charges, the other companies keep adding charges, and sending span. It was a one time deal, just to send flowers one time to an ill woman. Now I have to keep calling people to have the charges removed, but the credit card company bills for interest for the month the charge is still in the card. Had I known what a hassle it would be, I would have simply located a flower shop near the nursing home, and let them handle the arrangements. I won't use ProFlowers ever again. Not worth the trouble and time.
