Pro Lead Services Reviews

Insurance Leads
I purchased insurance leads from "Pro Lead Services". I was told to fax over a check and I would receive my leads. Not true after several days of NO LEADS, I called and they said their systems were down, yeah right...they e-mailed my leads. I started to call A.S.A.P., TO COME TO FIND OUT, every lead i called were not interested and never responded to a survey, which I was told by "Pro Lead Services" every lead was contacted. Also, all the leads were DISCONNECTED NUMBERS, AND FAX NUMBERS. sO, i CONTACTED THEM and asked for my money back and got the run around and transfered to different people, which come to find out, the sales people were using different names. This company needs to be SHUT DOWN !!! I would like my money back, since their company policy has A 100% money back guarantee, which they are not standing behind !!! I can be contacted by e-mail @ [email protected] Help !

Fake Insurance Leads
STAY AWAY FROM PRO LEAD SERVICES. THEY ARE AN EVIL AND UNETHICAL COMPANY THAT SELLS FAKE INSURANCE / AUTO / ATC / ANNUTITY LEADS AND DO NOT ISSUE REFUNDS AS PROMISED.

I recently had the very unpleasant experience of dealing with Pro Lead Services (Sunrise, FL), a company that sells insurance leads and back them up with a 100% money back guarantee. I ordered two mailing lists for two of my clients. Virtually 90% of the phone numbers were disconnected and when I went to get my guaranteed refund, they didn't return calls/emails/letters, and now hang up the phone when I call and identify myself.

The insurance leads are supposedly televerifed by a call center making 30, 000 dials a day, asking wealthy individuals to complete a survey indicating whether or not they have health/life/annuities and if they would be interested in receiving a quote.

I own a marketing company, and one of my clients with Northwestern Mutual and John Hancock Insurance wanted me to get the list for them (they had found Pro Lead Services online). I called Pro Lead Services to set it up, and was treated very harsh and short on the phone by a woman named 'Joanne Vincent'. When I asked to speak to a manager, she hung up on me! I called back several times asking to speak with a manager, and I was brushed off or the phone was not answered. Eventually I was 'transferred' to a woman named 'Janet Conners', who sounded EXACTLY like the first woman I spoke with, 'Joanne Vincent'.

I would have never done business with them after that, but I had 2 clients that wanted to try their leads. So I cautiously proceeded, this time I called to place my order. Instead of taking my credit card or mailing a check (both of which I offered to do) she asked me to write a check and fax her a copy of it. I should have known something was off by then, but I reluctantly continued.

So I ordered the data, and they told me it would take 5-7 days for them to put my list together (which I now understand they were waiting for the check to clear). Once we got the leads, my clients found out they were fake the first day. Literally 90% of the phone numbers were disconnected, certainly not televerified by their call center in the last 90 days as Pro Lead Services had promised.

So I called 'Janet', but the phone was answered by someone that said her name was 'Joanne Best', another woman named Joanne that sounded EXACTLY like Janet Conners and Joanne Vincent. She told me in order to get the refund I had to have my clients take notes on all the bad phone numbers and then mail them to Pro Lead Services. So I mailed the list of all the bad numbers to Pro Lead Services with delivery confirmation, and the mail came back undeliverable.

Over the next two months, I sent countless emails to 'Janet Conners', Joanne Best', and 'Joanne Vincent'. None my emails were returned. I placed a dozen calls, all of which went to the voicemail box of the shrieking voice of Janet Conners. I sent a letter too, but to no avail.

I did send them an email today indicating that I have a new prospect that would like to order a lot of leads. No more than 10 minutes later, the same woman (Janet/Joanne) called me and identified herself as 'Alice', Janets assistant. I knew it was her, but I played along. I asked her to put 'Janet' on the phone, and she said she was out, but kept asking me for the order details. She kept asking for the customer information, trying to get it out of me like a snake. I asked 'Alice' to have 'Janet' call me back (it was always the same person). When she called, I told Janet that I had a new order but would not send it in without reimbursement on my last 2 orders. She replied 'Aha! So you're trying to trick me into giving you a refund?!' and she hung up on me. I called back, and she said that was a matter for customer service. When I asked for the phone number for customer service, she hung up on me.

Finally, I called back right after being hung up on for the 3rd time. This time, Janet answered the phone as 'Susan', and pretended not to know what I was talking about. When I said 'Janet, it's over - I know it's you', she hung up on me again. They didn't acknowledge the bad leads, didn't return my money, don't answer/return my calls, and don't respond to letters or email.

All in all, Pro Lead Services sells FAKE INSURANCE LEADS, and they DO NOT REFUND YOUR MONEY AS PROMISED.

Cheating company
Incident = I purchased 500 leads for $840. All the leads were cold calls, but were advertised as qualified leads of people who are interested in buying life insurance. I have discovered and have proof that the company is a scam. They have a guarantee which which is a lie.

I called every person on the list they gave me. The people I called were supposed to receive a pre qualifying letter in the mail, (which I received a copy of as well) in turn they were supposed to call the number on the mail literture And then they would be qualifed to see if they were candidates for insurance. If they were qualified I would get the lead. I described the letter they received in detail to the alleged qualified list and not a single person said they received the letter, called in from a letter or was interested in insurance.

Besides the origin of the list being a fraud, Proleads services has a guarantee on there leads that they are not honoring. The guarantee says that I will receive $650 in commissions per 100 leads reached. I received no commissions at all from the leads. As I was struggling through the list, I tried several times to reach the person 'Connie Miller' who sold me the leads, I never reached her. She called me about 3 times a day for a week before I made my first large investment to my business and ever since she got my money, she never spoke to me again. The only method of payment was through check. FOLKS NEVER BUY FROM A COMPANY YOU DON'T KNOW WITHOUT USING A CREDIT CARD!!!

I left messages and tried speaking to other people at Proleads, and they were rude, unresponsive, vague and if I asked them a tough question they just hung up. Now when I call when I say my name they hang up.
Proleads told me I have to mail in all the bad leads for them to investigate and then they will decide if they will return my money or not. Although I was not satisfied with this hazy answer, I sent them all my leads back in certified mail and they refused my package. Not even looking at my leads and the letter I sent them alongside in complaint.

In Proleads final package of leads e-mailed to me, They mistakenly sent me together with there leads, the information on where they brought them left on the excel spreadsheet. It all came from infousa.com, and they were not pre-qualified insurance leads, all proleads services does is buy addresses AND PHONE NUMBERS that were scrubbed against the do-not-call list. I called the Infousa.com contact and I told him the ID numbers I received from Proleads and he told me that they were buying phone numbers for around one tenth the price I was paying for leads that were supposed to qualified but were not. He said the Vendor had a large quantity of leads purchased from infousa and he felt bad that infousa was dealing leads to Proleads, unknowingly to what Proleads was doing. My last action to them was sending them back the all the leads with notations of what happened, with priority mail and she just hangs up everytime I ask for a refund.
