Back in April of 2007 we signed with ProTech Construction out of Bricktown, NJ. We gave him $8, 100.00 deposit. Within a week we paid for permits to open the street for a new driveway, paid for the mason and some other costs that were to be covered under our contract. It seemed he never had his checkbook with him. We were promised a completion date of Labor Day or before. Our house was torn apart and gutted and he kept needing money for cabinets, stairs, etc but never came through. He shows up when he feels like it. We had to hire other contractors to redo his work. We are out over 50, 000 and the job is far from complete. He says he gave the cabinet company the money, they say he did not. He says will meet with the plumbers, electricians and then does not show. We have been staying in our upstairs in 3 bedrooms using a microwave. There are no walls so the heat is going right outside. Because of the holes in the walls and the cold weather we had mice come in, a problem we never had before.This is a nightmare!

If he comes and someone else is working he comments on the job they are doing. I want my money back plus damages from this man.
