I ordered one of these kits by phone it was an automated system.
After ordering what I wanted I went though a litney of advertisments for other items, I lost track after 9, it just kepts
making offers after. when finally it charged my credit card and gave me my total I was shocked. What should have been 19.95 + 5.95 shipping became 129.95.. I immediately called the phone line again.. it would not connect me to a real person . I searched the internet for the phone number, I found a site if you typed your order number in it would give yout he staus. I searched for hours trying to find some way to contact them. FINALLY one of the websites paid off and listed an 800 number (which is no longer available ... ) I spoke to a real person. The first one was very rude told me I had to wait at least 5 days to contact customer accounts . I asked for a supervisor and he said mam he will tell you what i told you and hung up.. SOOOO I called back.. again a nd again.. FINALLY I got a woman who was very nice ... she said she understood why I was so upset yada yada yada.. then she told me she would personally flag my account and when the orders were pulled for that day at 3 o clock she would personally pull the order, cancel it and my account would never be debited. WElll.. I felt better... for the day. I tried calling back to confirm that she had been able to cancel my account and the people with whom I wad directed... told me there was nothing on my information .. not that I had called 20 times NOTHING. My account was charged the entire 129.97 I was livid so I started again calling into the center.. if someone wouldn't talke to me I hung up and tried someone else.. always immediately asking for a supervisor... After what seemed like hours I spoke to a man that asked me to explain why I needed the supervisor.. and again he said that he would take care of it.. the supervisor couldn't help me.. he would.. I said.. You seem like a very nice man.. and I don't want to offend you but PLEASE PUT ME THOUGH TO YOUR SUPERVISOR and ifyou don't I will continue to tie up your lines with my calls to someone talks to me. he put me on hold. Came back on and told me that they would refund me the cost of the caulk but I had to pay shipping (27.75) FOR SOMETHING I TOTALLY CANCELLED. a total rip off. I told them that was unacceptable. It wasn't my mistake that the auto system charged my account for 5 kits. I KNOW I DID NOT HIT THE key.. its no where near the 1 .. What it all boils down tooo is 2 days later my account is credited for the kits. I was charged the 29.75 and the kit got here today I immediately took it to the post office and returned it. NOW I cannot get a phone number to call in to get my money refunded . ( I was supposed to call with a tracking number) the number I had used was disconnected and I can't find another. I also had to pay to ship it back and for the trackig number .. again money out of my pocket.. for something that really isn't worth all this hassel.
Thanks for listening.. if feels better getting it off my chest. I am not going back to trying to reach a real person.. wish me luck
