Terrible company

I got this online friend. We've been like boyfriend - girlfriend over the internet. He told me that he is a businessman and he wants to marry an Asian woman. Then, he told me that he is going to send a gift for me. Valuable gifts from UK, and he will put money inside the parcel worth 3, 500pounds. When I knew this from him, I told him that never put money inside the parcel because its illegal.

To make the long story short, he still put the money inside. He informed me that he already send the parcel and gave me the tracking number, and this website http://www.prodexscservice.com/contact.htm to check my parcel.

The parcel was addressed to Singapore. The funny thing is that, how come it goes to Malaysia? And they even said, the Customs in Malaysia found currencies and I need to pay a penalty of 670USD. I began questioning them, howcome its like that, it should go directly to Singapore and let Singapore Customs handle the case.

So I paid 670usd. They even told me to transfer via bank or western union, and they dont accept credit cards. After that, there's a new problem again, they need a Certificate for anti money laundering which is worth 400 GBP, they said if Il pay this the parcel would be delivered to singapore as soon as possible. I also paid for that..

So everything is complete, now its time to go to Singapore. After that, they called me saying that my parcel has been hold to Singapore, due to incloplete documents, and the parcel has to go back to Malaysia again.

I asked for their address in Malaysia, and they couldnt give it to me. Il ask their agent in Singapore and they want to give it to me.. This is a major scam! I even checked their head office in UK, and I see thats there's no Prodex there, even the Phone number I can get thru with it.

And the one who send me the parcel.. his phone is off, and not working anymore.

So, please be careful with this group. I believe they have been conned a lot of people.

Awful company

I also got this online friend claimed to be from Ireland. we've been know and contact each other for few times only. He told me that he is a businessman and he wants to visit Malaysia to find a new business deal and doesn't know or have any friends in Malaysia. He was excited to know me as a friend and for that he told me that he sent a gift for me. Valuable gifts from UK such as handbag, clothes, jeweleries and he put money inside the parcel worth 7000pounds. When I knew this from him, I was shocked and also excited for such kindness and gifts coz i never received such an expensive gifts from a friend oversea and i also don't know about the procedure of so called as taxes or insurance or what so ever.

So, to make it story short, He informed me that he already send the parcel and gave me the tracking number, and this website http://www.prodexscservice.com/contact.htm to check my parcel. So i tracked the parcel through the information given. The delivery was on 15/8/09

I was so excited and can't wait for the parcel arrival. when it reached Malaysia on 18/8/09, the agent from this company who represent Malaysia, called me and asked me to pay for the taxes in order to proceed for the delivery. i was shocked and reluctant to pay it but my friend told me that he didn't pay for the tax because he didn't know the tax rate in Malaysia and hoping for me to pay it because he was so worried about the money. so i bank in money RM1500.00 through a personal saving account of a local bank which they sms to me.

After they received the money, they pretending that they has proceed for custom checked. when go through custom they said that the custom found currencies and I need to pay a penalty of RM8000.00. I began questioning the agent how come its like that, and it's not my fault. i asked the agent to call the sender himself and settle it with him. He even told me that it will become a court case and police case if I'm not settle it.

So the agent pretending to contact the sender and discuss on how to settle the case because i told my friend that i don't have such money to pay the penalty and it's not my fault.

Then the agent told me that he was detained at KLIA airport for further investigation on 21/8/09 until 24/8/09 and I haven't received any call from my Ireland friend within that days.

Then on 25/8/09 i called the agent once again to find out what is the situation. Then on this day too my Ireland friend suddenly called me and asking me how is the situation. I said i didn't know

Then today on 26/8/09 my instinct tells me that something is not right and i tried to check on the website once again to tracking the parcel. But once i searched the address, it doesn't appear as usual as if that it does not exist at all...until i found this website and read about the same case and same complaint from a Singaporean from the same company.

Luckily i did not pay the amount of RM8000.00

i think this group of people is somewhere in Malaysia. So, please be careful with this group. I believe they have been conned a lot of people and still actively doing it at this moment.
