Wrong fully Terminating people
Where do I start? Supervisors never return your phone calls or e-mails. You work in the Wal-Mart stores and Wal-mart employee hate us there and always giving us problems Crossmark supervisor never backs us up. Our carts and supplies are always being messed with by Wal-mart employees and vendors and we have to suck it up and clean up and or move the stuff they have around our supplies. some times it takes a long to get ready to work it such a mess. Because Crossmark's afraid to lose contract with Wal-Mart us employee with Crossmark suffer who care about their employee's. My Wal-mart store made stuff up that I did and I was fired. It was totally
untrue. I didn't even know what my supervisor was talk-en about when he told me. I asked for it in writing he refuse to. So maybe he made it up.
My husband after working 2 years with me in my store new supervisor decided she didn't want husband and wife working to gather so one day he went and log in and he was gone fired NO notice.
Last week my daughter work with company different store she went to log on and couldn't Fired No notice of why after two years. The last few months several other employee where fired no notice.
If you cant log on you know your gone. work is never steady one week you get 4 days next you could have none.
They don't care about you at all. I worked so hard to get customers to buy the products and had good relationship with them. Wal-mart management and employee treated us and their own people bad. I cant understand it we here their to help Wal-Mart but they seen us as intruders.
One day I seen Wal-mart head manager yelling at a employee and next day the big wigs where there and the store manager patted her on back in front of big wigs and after they were gone treated her bad again. I have had four managers in the three years I worked for Crossmark, The first one was great the other three terrible. No back bone and they have no idea what they are doing. They use to asked me what should I do if a problem comes up. They don't no how to use the Schelling system everyones schedule's where always messed up. I asked for vacation 9 months ahead of time because my daughter was getting married that was out of town, when the time came they gave me hard time taking it off, so close to not being able too. The rules are always changing more so when we got new supervisor. The supervisors are lazy make you do their work. You go to your supervisor supervisor same thing don't back you up, don't call you back, and just don't care about you. They sit at home doing nothing and get paid.
The company wastes so much. Oh my goodness we throw away so much unopened food and paper products. They wont let us give to food bank. it has to be thrown away.The last week I worked there I threw away 200 samples of laundry soap packets and 5 boxes of crackers and 4 bottles of unopened juice. Paper plates, napkins, cups, I could go on. it's horrible. Shame full.
At least $100.00 worth of stuff a day. That is in only one store. Their are hundreds of stores. Starving people and the food gets thrown out.
well I can go on but think you got it. Don't work for Crossmark as an event specialist.

Fired with No cause
I work for Crossmark for almost three years. The first two years where good. few small problems here and there. I do product demonstrations in the Wal-Mart stores. Crossmark has contract for all the Wal-mart and Sam's club stores. I worked with my spouse for almost two years. We had good set up going it wasn't broke don't fix it.. Had lots of regular customers. We got new supervisor and she decide she didn't want husband and wife working in same stores together so they fired him because he refused to drive 61 miles to another store.. One month later I was fired for being FALSITY accused of misconduct with Wal-mart employee.
I am suppose to go in warehouse to get my products to demo for that day. I found the product and was putting it in my cart to purchase and one of the warehouse employees came up to me wanting to know what I was doing. I told her getting product to demo. she said you cant take that. I said isn't it a vendor product she said yes. For three years I have been told vendor products aren't in system and I can take to purchase them. Yes if it were not vendor I would have to get it signed out. She said No you have to have it sign out I said OK sign it out. She said she cant.
There was only 5 bottles to pull and I had other products that day so I said I will not demo theses today and I will find out what is the correct way for next time. So I put the 5 bottles back and went on with my day.
There was no yelling No load voices. just a little confusion. No body ever said anything else to me that day. Even managers came up talked and got their samples. I always gave them big samples to make them happy. If there was a problem why didn't store managers come talk to me.
Well when I got home an hour later my supervisor called and said he needed to talk to me about my fight today.
I said fight there was no fight you must have wrong store. he said no you got in big dispute with Wal-mart employee. I again said it's not me.
He said is Les and Amber in your store I said yes they are managers. He said what happed in warehouse this morning about taken product from store not paying for it and refusing to show receipts.
I started thinking and said oh my gosh you have got to be kidding me. and explained what happened and asked what did you do to back me up. He said nothing it out of his hands it's my word against theirs and since Wal-mart are the ones who crossmark are under contract with, we have to listen to them. So I said anytime they can just make something up and we are screwed.
He wanted me to do my last two events for the weekend and then I will be out of Job when Corporate gets the report.
I told him I wouldn't go in because I am so sick about the whole thing.
If they are not listening to me and backing me up and using me because they have no body else to do the events for weekend. If I am so bad why would he want me there anymore at all. Then what happens next time they lie. Went to Dr got work slip till end of the week till corporates decides what they will do. That same day I called my supervisor requesting in writing what I was being accused of and he refused to do it. I then sent e-mail to him and his supervisor to give me details in writing three times. Never got it. One week later I was fired.
Now this is what is going on with the Wal-mart stores and employees.
They don't want our company there and they are always harassing us for something. They don't like it they have no control over us directly and so they go to our supervisor and make things up. The employees don't like it we make a lot more money then a department supervisors does at Wal-Mart. My Sonr works in another store on other side of state and is really bad . One day they yelled at him saying people where hanging out at her carts all day, It was a poster with life size people.
They are Always throwing his supplies around and on ground and blocking his supplies with very heavy stuffs. Told them they couldn't drink water at there carts. One girl was Pg and was so sick of it all and quit. I had my supplies blocked too all the time too. I would get my cart set up and had it set up in same spot of months and new manager or employee comes on and they make me move where the customers aren't. this happened over and over. Don't they know we are there to help them sell products. I bent over back wards to make Wal-mart employees happy gave them huge samples. Helped them if need help.

The supervisors never call you back or respond to your e-mails.
When you do a fresh event you are to have a food safely certificate and they get too many scheduled and make the employees do them with no certificate. Hope health department goes in then.
Your suppose to get a referral bonus if you get someone hired. I got like 4 people in and only got one bonus.
My daughter was getting married and we gave 8 months notice we need time off and our old supervisor approved it. Well when we got new one she said we cant have it off. we did end up getting it off only because it was a slow weekend. But the days before we were so upset. When we first went into the Wal-mart store they were going to make us put our supplies outside in the garden section where it was snowing. I won that one. Wal-mart locks the trash compactor so we have to have manager look threw our stuff. I didn't trust them I always destroyed my left overs so they couldn't put back on shelf get paid twice.or use it them selfs.

Speaking of left overs Oh my gosh you wouldn't believe the stuff we throw away. It is a huge crime...Boat loads of unopened food and supplies like cups, napkins so on. It makes us all sick the amount of waste there is. We cant give it to food banks. The last time I worked I threw away 20 bottles of juice and four boxes of crackers. " Unopened". We throw away lots of health and beauty products what ever wal-mart sells we demo and throw away. Starving people and Crossmark throws away hundreds of dollars a day of unopened stuff.

OK about Wal-mart, I seen first hand the abuse the managers and supervisors give there good employees. They scream at them all the time. One day I seen head store manager yelling at employee and next day the corporate big shot was there and the employee walked by and the store manger pats her on back said have a great day. few hours later after corporate left and store manager "L" yelled at her again. What a fake show he did too make him self look good in front of corporate..
Crossmark is not fair they only worry about them selfs. Employees are nothing but a number. They need to go Union!!!
