I was directed to the above website after reading an ad in Facebook about working from home. I understood that it had something to do with placing ads on the internet to make money, and there was an offer for a "kit" which would only cost me USD1.88. So I ordered it and I believe the payment was via PayPal so I felt safe, plus it was cheap so I figured I didn't have much to lose.
Then just this morning I noticed some charges on my Visa card which didn't look familiar to me. I went back to my November and December 2009 statements as well, and sure enough there were in total 9 transactions that I did not authorize. This was inclusive of the ordering of the "kit" - which I never received. The amount charged however was around USD 27.00 instead of USD 1.88. The rest of the transactions ranged from USD 9.95 to 59.95 and each time they were billed under different merchants. Some were under ClickMoney, some were under NA31COM and rebayt etc.
I never received any type of kits or other merchandise or services through the mail or email, other than a link to download some brochures on the so-called money-making business. Nowhere did it say that I would be billed every month [at least 3 different charges monthly] nor do I understand what these charges were for.
My credit card company has canceled my card and hopefully these people will stop their illegal activities. I don't understand how they have managed to charge my card since the first transaction was done via PayPal where my credit card info was supposed to be confidential.
Please take actions against these people - is Google behind this scam? If so they should be taken to court!!!
