Nearly two years of Easy Saver charges on my account. Just a $14.95 /month charge so I really wasn't paying that much attention (oops). Called Easy Saver, they offered a one year refund on the spot. I asked about the rest of the charges and they were nice, but basically said why didn't you cancel earlier. Told them my secretary pays my bills and he left me on hold to get authorization. Came back, said OK. Crediting my credit card for 12 months, writing a check for the balance.
Of course, Proflowers has lost my business. They should fire the marketing genius who got them in on this scam, but hell he/she probably got promoted because I bet alot of people don't notice this on their bills.
This is just a credit card version of the Bernie Madoff scam. If everyone called them to get refunds, they would have to deny them or go out of business. Then again...that bad part of me wishes that I'd thought of it. Ingenious in a very evil way if you think about it.
