Watch out
This looked really convenient, and I had heard them advertised on the radio.
What you have to watch out for is they don't tell you the final price until the very end of the order proces...AFTER you've entered your CC information, written the card, and told them where to deliver it!
You might think the price is reasonable, however when you get to the final page, you will see charges for fuel surcharge, delivery fees, taxes, etc., etc.
What startedout as a reasonable price more than doubled by the final confirmation! Watch out! You don't want to be surprised by the bill!

Rip off
I tried to cancel the order within 5 minutes of ordering due to the huge amount of processing and delivery fees, which was about 45% of the price of the flowers What a ripoff. Any how, I tried to cancel the order within 5 minutes, but couldn't because I didn't cancel in time. Are they kidding me. I emailed their Customer Service, several times, and finally was told that in the disclaimer it stated that I couldn't cancel if I ordered after 2/7/10, even if I canceled within 5 minutes of ordering. That's just poor business decision. I could understand if I waited 24 hrs of ordering, but this was literally within 5 minutes.

Non Delivery
My complaint is similiar to the other complaints. I placed a Valentines / Anniversary order for my wife on Feb 4 for delivery on Feb 11. I received confirmation that my shipment was picked up on Feb 10th. Feb 11th and 12th came and went without a delivery. I tried not to make a big deal about it as long as my wife got the flowers by Valentines day. By 9AM on Feb 14th, I checked Fedex website and my flowers were sitting in a warehouse. There wasn't even an attempt at a delivery.
I contacted customer service at proflowers and the assured me that the flowers would be there that day and refunded my shipping and handling charges. I was told the flowers could be delivered as late as 8PM. I checked Fedex's website at 4PM and found that the flowers were still sitting in the warehouse. I finally told my wife that although i tried to do something nice for her for valentines day, her flowers would probably not be coming. 8PM came and went without a delivery.
The next morning, I contacted Proflowers and told them about the failure to deliver. They refunded the balance of my money. I was expecting more than an apology since my valentines / anniversary was so disappointing. I asked if I could get some assurance that some kind of complaint would be filed with Fedex. You would think that a Professional Flower Company would take non delivery seriously, or at least make me feel that they would. "Sorry" and a refund does not suffice. I will never order from Proflowers again.

Not pros
I hope I can save people from a Valentine's fiasco. I ordered Proflowers for two delivers, one for Mom and one for my mother-in-law. What a mistake!
I ordered potted tulips, colorful and attractive in the picture. What both moms got was a tin bucket with a *** in it. They sent me pictures and the "arrangements" were downright ugly. Instead of conveying, "I love you, " the delivery said something like "I wish you were dead."
Each was sent to a different state, so didn't even come from the same florist. Don't waste your money and cause ill feelings.

Sent dead flowers for Valentines Day
Never order from ProFlowers or their 5 other businesses!!! For Valentines Day I ordered 15 tulips from ProFlowers (from me) and a small giraffe ring holder from Red Envelope, an affiliate business of ProFlowers, (from my kids) for my wife. I was promised delivery on Valentines Day by the end of business. I do not know about you but I think the end of business day is 6pm. Well…not ProFlowers! They consider 8pm the end of business day. We waited all day for the delivery. I wanted to have the flowers on the dining room table for our special Valentines dinner and have my kids give their mother their present after dinner. Luckily I got her some jewelry as well because the ProFlower delivery came at 7:54pm. The beautiful display of 15 tulips they show on the web site turned out to be 13 drooping ½ dead and frozen buds. When I placed them in the vase they looked like Charlie Browns Christmas Tree. The buds all hit the counter top because they drooped so much. We had already put our kids to bed (they are 2 and 5 years old) so we had to wake them up to see mom open her gift. The giraffe was as stated on the web site but what a disappointment. To wait all day and finally get the gifts at 8pm on Valentines Day ruined a special occasion. Luckily I have an understanding wife who was happy with the effort if not the outcome. When I called the customer care line (that’s a laugh) the operator tried to blame UPS for the screw up. When I reminded her ProFlowers contracted UPS and chose that method of delivery so it is ProFlowers responsibility she could do nothing but agree. I got my money back for the flowers & delivery of flowers but no discount was offered for the giraffe. I will NEVER order anything from ProFlowers or their 5 other businesses, ProPlant, Red Envelope, Cherry Moon Farms, Sharis Berries & Personal Creations.com. I should have read the reviews before I ordered from them. Check out this web site http://www.floristdetective.com/wst_page15.aspx. Do yourself a favor and stay clear of these brands.

late delivery
I ordered flowers from proflowers on feb 10th 2011 andset delivery for feb 14 now to a business setting they said delivery between 9 and 5 which worked perfect. Well 5 came and no flowers my girlfriend left at 5. So i check ups and wow it showed up at 5:25 to late for her to get them.
Well a rushed trip to a florist nearby and another 50 bucks spent for more flowers
I am very disappointed in proflowes and will never use them again and will make sure to tell everyone how bad this was
I have emailed and requested a refund we will see if they will

Deceptive website- no delivery
I ordered flowers, with a guaranteed Valentines day delivery to a business address. No flowers arrived.
The website does not show delivery costs until after you have checked out so there is no way to back out when you discover it costs nearly 40$ and that delivery is by UPS. Also charged handling and care costs - Flowers bought at $19.99 cost $64.43. Further study of the very confusing site shows costs hidden in small print on obscure pages and you would need to study and research the entire site (no one does this) to determine costs in advance.
My advice.. AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Additionally their is no way to speak to a live person, so here begins, what I am sure will be a long winded fight for a refund.
I am not the sort of Cat that, when the milk turns, will still drink it.. I will continue to expose ProFlowers with every media, and Blog outlet at my disposal.
It is up to you if you use them, but I feel very burned, upset and scammed.

poor quality, over charged
ordered 1 dozen premium red roses at the Valentines special price of $19.99. Added a clear vase and I love You pick. They charged my credit card for $72.70. The roses were dime store quality and the baby's breath was worse. They show a photo of beautiful long stem roses that fill a vase. These roses came in a box and my wife had to clean this green foam crap off the stems and try to arrange them. It is pitiful looking. The roses are droopy and petals are falling off. They rattle around in the vase because they are so small. Proflowers and their talk show mouthpieces should be ashamed. This is worse than shamwow.

Discount percentage not computed
I am no longer doing business with Proflowers, the online flower/bouquet delivery service. The discount I was suppose to receive was never computed into the final total. Although the order pages kept reporting, 'discount computed on order page'. Or similar verbiage. Evidently the business hopes that you will not recognize the non-discount on the packed final order page.
Also, this company does not include either shipping or 'handling' costs until the final check-out screen. One may determine that the final cost will be about twice of the initial quoted price. I also believe that the usual three dollar 'handling' charge is excessive. Future Proflower messages will now automatically drop into my email spam folder.
