it is irritating from the start; not only to find unauthorized charges to my credit card from some so-called business I have never heard of let alone given my credit card information but to be forced to go through these hoops to get it resolved is outlandish. if I tried to do something like this I would be imprisoned. I do not understand how these businesses as they are called get away with it. evidently it must be worth it to them to try in the first place. there must be a lot of people who for whatever reason do not see the theft on their credit cards or assume it is something authorized making it worth the time of these crooks to continually commit grand larceny times however many successes the scale must be epic. it amazes me that our judiciary does nothing about it. I don't know of any prosecution against the thieves behind these so called businesses, and it is theft plain and simple. I wouldn't do it even if I could get away with it. there are some who still value integrity. I would like to find others who agree with me and are interested in pursuing lawsuits not only for the money that has been stolen or attempted to be stolen and would have been if we had not be diligent about our transactions and taking the time to follow up on those not authorized. some of you might have found as I have that it can be quite time consuming due to the run around and the false addresses and phone numbers that provide only the information to send people in circles. I want to sue for my time, the thefts, and the audacity to do it. until these practices are outlawed and the offenders imprisoned for lengthy terms it will not stop. how much more are we going to take? collectively we can put an end to this and if our prosecutors and lawmakers will not help us than we can boycott. we can discontinue all credit card use except for paying utilities online or whatever payments are essential such as insurance, rent, etc...we do not need the services that are provided by the legitimate companies we buy from online. we can shop locally. then perhaps with pressure from the legitimate businesses who depend on web shoppers the legislature and the judiciary will be motivated to do something about these despicable thieves who are no better than thugs who break into homes, automobiles and wherever else they can infiltrate to steal what does not belong to them. I have no doubt the amount is staggering that they pilfer from card holders every month let alone every year. I have reached my limit. how about you?

i was looking over my bank statement and noticed a 21.95 charge taken out may 21. i click on address and telephone number all i got was how to cancel membership i have never had a membership in fact i could not give a member because i never had one. so i am calling that number and also my bank and let them know of this scam. it said wc value plus .on withdrawal. i did turn them in to ftc

This is a a very active account that I keep paid up(except during the holidays), through my neglect these people made 8 charges to my Discover card of $24.95 each. Am now in touch with Discover. Doubt I'll get any money back, but want to make sure they don't get any more.
