I am living overseas and have tax issues in the Unitd States. I was told that they Progressive could fix my tax issues with a letter in compromise. I informed the lady on the phone that I have a inheritance coming in of less than $90000 and that I am in debt of $60, 000 not including IRS debt. She told me she would need $4000 so I gave her my credit card details where they billed $3500 and then sent them a check for $500 from there I get a e-mail stating that the Offer in Compromise will not work as the inheritance is taxable and that the IRS will count it as an asset a reverse of what I was told on the phone before I rendered payment. They do not return my phone calls, and are not disputing with Visa saying that I owe them the full amount even though they have not rendered any services. Please complain and take this to the California DA. I will be and if I need to will return to the U.S. to take this to court as I dont back down.

I received a post card in the mail from PTG that stated they had years of experinece dealing with IRS and would help resolve my issues with IRS. I was told by Mike Saran that they would talk to IRS and handle everything.PTG also told me they would settle with IRS and I would only have pay back a percent. Well after 6 months of only hearing from PTG after I would call them to see how the resultion was coming along did I learn they were not talking to IRS like they should have been, in fact IRS stated they (PTG) would never call back. When I tried to log a complaint with PTG they gave me the round around and to date I still have not heard back PTG. They charged me 15, 000. and have not done anything so far.
