Scam Business
Scammers, keep well away. Their business ethic is absolutely awful, if only i had read this column earlier. I hope If you are reading this, that it is not in hind sight as it is with me.

Beware
Right time for the truth- this is what you actually get from ENVY...
I was looking for an agency and Envy came up and it stated 'free registration' free 12 x monthly photo shoots for new and existing models, I thought ok I've got nothing to lose then- so I gave them my details and emailed them a picture, then a phone call came and they said they liked the look of me-can I come to an audition at their Retford studio as its their closest(they only have One studio BTW)- and to bring 3 outfits along and to do my own hair and make up!.. at this point I was really excited and I had already spent a fortune on clothes, hair due and make up!!.. I turned up and had 3 shots of my face taken (these were apparently test shots to see if the camera liked me!) Then I had to wait whilst they saw another prospective client, who was in before me. As I sat waiting (nearly 3/4 hour) I went in 'for a chat'-of course they bought up my 3 pictures-I looked fab- the camera loved me-I had a unique look + with no effort like the other models needed!- then came the hard sell - four really good dramatic pictures of models, saying this one has just auditioned for this acting part, this one has just done this advert etc it all sounded great and then came the 1st knock- to the sum of £750!!! Which as some of you say you dont get anything for free, but I raised the questions of why it costs that price as it was very expensive-the answer was they would do about 60 pictures of me and I get full rights, a casting card and all my pictures on a disk and also it is to register and allow you full access to the site and the auditions posted on there (but only for a year), So I agreed to pay 3 x £250 on a monthly basis, I went up to have my pictures taken after the 1st £250 was paid, I was in for about 10 mins (at the most) then was told to come back for the first monthly shoot (were again I was in for 5 mins at the most) I was assured again the monthly shoots you get a disk again with about 30 pictures on, I asked at this point if I could view what photos I had taken previously but they said no and that I couldn't have them until ALL the £750 had been paid...So I paid up the rest of the cash there and then and they said I could arrange to come back to view and pick up my portfolio next week- so I left thinking OMG im sooooo excited and I cant believe all this is happening hmmmm-...
I have now got my portfolio it consists of 15 pictures (which are ok at best)a cheap file to put them in, and a disk and 1 casting card all of which (inc every picture has Project Envy splashed all over them so you cant use them for anything else) and the monthly shoot disk arrived with just 10 pictures on (two are ok the rest I could of done better with my phone camera), so ive so far got 25 photos-and over half of these are out of shot (ie feet, shoes or hair cut off, set back drops endings on show etc ) My portfolio is half way down the page on the website and the castings I paid so dearly to access from their site are mostly for extras (facebook have these advertised regularly for free!) SO yes if you ask me its all just a scam, they are just after your money, Ive not heard a thing from them since I paid my £750-its up to me to contact them to book in to next months shoot!! Thing is for £750 Im going to have to bite my tongue and go or else I will have even less to show for my money!!...oh and Ive applied far everything casting wise (there wasnt alot to be fair and nothing that couldn't be accessed as Joe public anyway) and so far NOTHING or though its early days!
Key points here guys are NONE OF ITS FREE AS ADVERTISED NOT A SINGLE CLICK OF IT- ITS £750 for a handful of photos! Its only for a years website coverage and the castings you could find all by yourself.
sorry if its been long winded but Ive told you the whole process now from start to finish so at least you have ALL the info and facts to make your own mind up
