Talk about a company that gives the runaround to their customers... Thats an understatement to the service I have recieved(actually havent recieved) from this bogus warranty. when the dickhead sold me the warranty on may of 2009 There was nothing said about oil changes or vehicle maitnence. I drive an 04 f-150 and my transmission went out on me last week. When the repair shop tried to submit a claim Joe with Prolong Plus needed a copy of 5 oil changes(he gave no specific instructions) and a transmission service. So after driving around on my lunch brake to the only 2 oil change places in my town i ended up with exactly 5 oilchange reciepts and 1 transmission service reciept. Faxed them to Joe and waited on a call back from him. After 3 business days of waiting on his call I decided to call Prolong and ask for Joe. So i called and after being on hold for a frustrating 44 mins Roger picked up the line and i asked for Joe. He transfered me to joe and i got his answering machine. SO i left a message and he actually called me back only to tell me that my only one of my oil change reciepts was valid. So i demanded my money back an will be paying my hard earned cash for my transmission because I need my vehicle back. after i asked for my refund i was given yet another 800 number to call so i did and then Adriane with the broking company for prolong told me that they might could help me pay for part of the repair. FUCK THAT NOISE! I paid them $2793.00 and all i ask is that they cover my $1600 tranny repair. and they cant even do that. This will end costing them more than they intend on losing if they do not cooperate. They will pay my attorneys fees along with repair bill if no action is taken for this terrible service.
