Don't order from them
Their return policy is to deduct shipping and a 10% restocking fee and only give you store credit, EVEN FOR AN EXCHANGE! I ordered a dress according to their size chart and it was too small. Then they gave me store credit for $50.00 less than what I paid for the dress and had to reorder it, pay full price again plus shipping. I would NOT recommend ordering from PromGirl.com!

UnHappy Customer
I purchased a prom dress for my daughter 3 months in advance (beginning of February)from Promgirl.com, completely aware of the non-refundabel policy. But what I wasnt aware of was the restocking fee (my bad). My daughter was not happy with the way the dress fit or looked (not like the pic). So in order to return the dress for an exchange it is going to cost me 10% of the cost of the dress plus shipping charges. So if I were to exchange the dress and the 2nd dress did not fit right then I would be even further in dept to Promgirl.com. There shouldnt be a restocking fee for something you can not try on and have no way of knowing if it will fit until you purchase it. Pretty ignorant to run an online business with this policy. I will NEVER PURCHASE ANOTHER ITEM FROM THE IS WEBSITE. I have considered this a loss and have learned my lesson not to purchase expensive items online. I have bought better dresses for my daughter on Ebay at less than half of what I paid for this dress.

As of today I still had not received the order
They have very bad business practices. I ordered a dress on 3/30/10. Got an email on 4/1/2010 that stated my item shipped and included a tracking number. As of today 4/6/2010 I still had not received the order. I called to get more info and was told that the order had not shipped and would not until 4/10/2010. Additionally, when I placed the order the website stated that the product was "In stock: Ships next business day"...that obviously did not happen. When I called I was told that the only thing they could do for me was cancel the order... they falsly advertised that the item was in stock and then lied to me in an email that my order had shipped when in reality is never did!
