I work in the entertainment industry and occasionally I run across a few characters that make me second guess things I hear from them.
Eli Mizrahi is one of them, After a few drinks and a few stories later. I began thinking that this A list name dropper would do anything get in anywhere he feels he needs to be no matter the cost or the stories he'd have to tell.
So out of sheer curiosity I asked around to some people in the industry who might have heard of him. Sure enough I had an abundance of responses..
So here's the rundown on Eli Mizrahi:
Apparently he's related to Issac Mizrahi so he says, altho could be true.
Promotes a clothing line Abed Mahfouz says he's part owner, could also be true.
Good stuff so far right?
Well now he is now claiming to be some sort of producer and started this company Propaganda NY.
I'm not going to go into all of the negative things I heard about him because it can be hearsay.
Altho there where a few things that kept coming up over and over again from several people.
That he is a compulsive LIAR and to not to business with him he's a CON ARTIST.
Being that it's never happened to me I'm not one one to pass judgement.
But before you do trust your clients to this guy or his company, check references.
You might be surprised at what you find out!
