Prosperity Learning/Executive mentoring sessions Reviews

Breach of contract
I responded to an online advertisement offering assistance in starting my own online business which would only require around 10 hours per week but generate a 'conservative' income stream, certainly sufficient to pay off what I was being asked to pay in order to receive their executive mentoring sessions. I was told repeatedly by the representatives (including Ryan Madsen at http://www.WhyProsperity.com, director, and my designated representative Joshua Robinson, both of whom have turned out to be just salesmen) that I had a 3-business day time period within which to cancel the program if I was not satisfied with it. I sent them a cancellation via e-mail within that time period and had already told both of them that the website to which I had been given access was not giving me anything I could use. I had already received a Turquoise Star from e-bay before hearing of Direct Commerce Academy, so was already perfectly able to do e-bay business. The 'executive mentoring sessions' consisted simply of telling me to look at numbered items on the lists for e-bay and for drop-shipping, and my listening to 'Webinars' which I told both of them were not helpful to me in any way. They never started at the designated times, kept cutting out on me, and were about topics like selling fishing rods which had no relevance to anything I was likely to sell. Everything to which they introduced me I either already knew about or had no desire to pursue, and they were purposely telling me to look at more of the numbered items, knowing that the program was not offering what I had been lead to believe it contained. I counted on the verbal assurances that I could cancel within 3 business days, which was obviously a lie. For my $4, 200 I received absolutely nothing, and was accused of 'using' the website simply because, after having informed them of my decision not to continue and their not having communicated with me in any way (they were never available at either telephone or fax numbers which they had given me), I was simply looking for something I might have 'missed', which was not the case. This is a real scam and they have completely failed to show good faith by allowing me to cancel the contract and return my money. I am still subject to constant e-mails from entities with which they are attached, including someone who allegedly 'helps' you set up your website. I very clearly had no clue how to set up a website but received an e-mail from him saying what a great website I had created (i.e. I had inserted my name and a few areas in which I was interested) and how successful I was going to be. I was totally tricked and I have read online of others who have been similarly tricked, although I have not seen anyone who has had $4, 200 stolen in this way.
