the web site was very misleading. i signed up for a year membership for 35.40 on monday nov 16. i used the site immediately to do a search for one individual. not only did i receive no proprietary information on the person but i found that i was to be charged an addtional 39.95 for that search. within an hour of signing up i contacted the company (john) and explained how misleading the text was on the site and that i wanted nothing to do with the company. it seemed designed to mislead as you can see from the site. john told me he would reverse the charges against my credit card. when i received my statement the 35.40 was reversed but there was a charge of 39.95 still intact. i immediately phoned the company to complain and was told i had no recourse as i had used the site for the search. i object to this as the entire site was confusing as to what the actual charges were unless i had a lawyer go through the fine print on my behalf. i'm certain many others have been duped into signing up under false pretenses. at the moment i am contesting this charge but want to warn other potential users of this site to do so at your own, very substantial risk.
