I come from one of the biggest truck budgets in Australia. I am experienced and honest leaving the industry after 4 years hard work. It is true. I have your credit card no#...firstly if you dont refuel your vehicle i will charge you for a top up. My fuel bowser is 10 foot in front of my front door. Always so called honest people call up and query fuel charges...sometimes we get it wrong ie a staff member does a delivery or does not top up the previous incoming rental and the next customer wears the difference. On the other hand you just get just plain stupid people who think trucks run on an oily rag and who's plain stupidness is astounding. 'Hang on i only drove 100kms, why did you charge me 20 litres of fuel' Its a truck moron not a bike. The best ones i can recall...customer comes into the office

then i put 30 litres in in front of his face he goes quiet and red in face pays and slips off a lying loser
im not saying the system is correct...but lots of customers are scammers, damage, fuel, stealing parts, speeding tickets, parking fines, abuse, not returning and on and on...then make out we are the ones giving a hard time, they came to us and wanted what we gave...and then when used dont want to pay dues.
Go rent a lawnmower...that costs about the same if not more than a car. A 500 buck lawnmower versus a 50000 car, now complain about value for money and service.
