Unauthorized Charges
This company has charged many people, myself included, out of many different amounts of money without prior authorization. I myself have filed a complaint with the BBB at www.BBB.org I suggest that you do the same. I included in the amount what was charged to me plus the service fee plus any insufficent fees that were charged to me because of the company.

Unauthorized Charge
I had an unauthorized charge against my Capital One MC from Publications Max. The transaction was dated 11/26/09 (Thanksgiving Day) with a posting day of Saturday, 11/28/09. The amount was $79.00, the same as another unauthorized charge as listed by another Complaints Board user and generated by Publications Max. I have not used my card for almost a month and I am the only person who uses the card. My receipts are shredded after I have matched them against my statements. However, somehow this company has obtained my credit card information. Capital One is investigating the charge and hopes to have resolution in about 4 days. In the meantime, at my request, they will be issuing me a new card. It appears to me that Publications Max is issuing these fraudulent charges just when the holiday shopping is off to a roaring start, hoping the charges will be unnoticed. Why can't authorities close these people down??

unauthorizad charges to my bank account
I have never even heard of this company untill I saw a $79.00 pending charge on my bank account. I never purchased anything from them. I have no idea how they got my bank info. I tried calling the phone number provided on their website after I looked up the company online and have had no answer. You only get a recording and have to leave messages. No one has gotten back to me and I have spoken with my bank to file fraud charges. This company obviously steals bank info from somewhere. Beware the companies to do online business with and be sure your info isn't compromised. Mine apparently has.

I have left message after message and nothing. I'm so livid about this. Going to file dispute Monday at my bank over this.

overcharge
As part of a supposed scam I subscribed to 5 magazines for a total of $27. My Visa was charged $91.87. I called 888-624-2877 to complain and was told I would receive a refund of$64.87. Call was made 2/16/09. As of yet there has been no credit posted to my Visa. Am I going to get a refund, or, better yet, a full cancellation?

Overcharged w/ no refund
Same thing as everyone else. Followed the tempting link from MySpace Apps where I could order 5 magazines for $27, and $87.79 was deducted from my bank acct. Called on the 15th and the Cust. Serv Rep (I doubt it) told me that there were probably extra changes by the publishers. I told the lady to cancel the order and return my money. She said it could take 10 days. No refund yet, and their website is now unreachable.

wrong price given on a subscription
I signed up to receive 5 magazines for $27, instead I got charge for $95. I want a full refund. I dont think is fair what your doing to us, your customer trying to sell your product by making us think something thats false

Magazine Price
I signed up with this company on an offer for five magazines for 27 dollars. upon checking my bank account, I found that the company had charged me 93 dollars. No where in the print was the fact that they were going to charge more than 27 dollars. I can see maybe 40 for service charges but not 93 dollars.
I have not been able to get anyone on their phone line to talk about this charge.
