Charging for magazine I DID NOT order!!
I was "fast-talked" into paying for magazine I DO NOT want! I cannot find ANY way to UNSUBSCRIBE. Called my credit card company and they will not/cannot cancel PCH's billing to my account. HOW can I get them to STOP charging me for magazines I DID NOT order?

Their Feb. 25, 2010 contest
Today is Thursday, 25, Feb., 2010 and Publisher's Clearance House (PCH) is at it again. This time they are alledgedly traveling throughout the United States to surprise the latest winners of their contest with various cash prizes of $1, 000 to the grand prize of $1, 000, 000. You have to go to their web site and wait forever to learn that the 10 million prize PCH has been claiming will be awarded this month and has not been and it will be a long while before that drawing is conducted again.
What is highly questionable is that those shortlisted to receive this manna have already been alerted days ago. This leaves those who do not have regular access to the web site to once again have their dreams dashed. Still, PCH continues to send out their e-mails giving the impression instant wealth is within your reach.
PCH instructs their customer service representatives to inform callers PCH contests are games of chance. But one has to question who is actually selecting the winning numbers? In the United States, games of chance are subject to state and federal laws which are applied to such activities. Especially if those activities are extended across state lines such as PCH's operations. Does PCH actually expect us to believe that these games of chance really are unbiased?
PCH is very coy when directly asked how their contests are operated. Apparently they think the American consumer is too stupid to realise when they are being "had" by snake oil salesmen. There continues to be a growing body of lawsuits filed against this company and yet, they still want all of us to think that they are "the house where dreams are made".

Hello! I wasn't sure what to categorize this under, but anyway. I joined Publisher's Clearing House a few weeks ago, ya know just to see if I could get lucky and win 10 million dollars. Well a few times a week they send you a link to there site of the most random things that you can buy, they send it to you, then you make 4 payments after they send it. All of this is fine because I have done it a few times and everything was good. Well a few days ago I came across a plant they had called "irish star" they said it blooms spring to winter blah blah. So I bought it for my grandmother because she has a huge garden. Well I tell her about it and she wants me to get information on it so she knows what it needs to thrive ect... I spent 4 hours searching for this information, it was nowhere on the internet so finally i join a stupid gardening forum and a lady helps me and I send her a picture of what it looks like. Come to find out there is no such thing as an Irish Star, the photo was of an actual flower but really called "falling star of bethlehem" or "Ornithogalum Nutans" and it originated in Asia not Holland . And it only blooms in the spring, not to winter. Publisher's Clearing House customer service has yet to give me the information on this "irish star" because they know it is a crock. So I am upset I spent the money on something I thought would last 4 seasons, and it lasts 1. So if you are a member, beware of SOME of the things they sell.

1ooo Dollar Shopping Spree
I was contacted in July about a shopping spree that I won because of my getting onto the website on a regular basis. I was only getting on to try to win that $100, 000.00 a week winning contest, trying to get some money because I work a minimum wage job and have a family to support. What they told me was that I would be getting 3 magazine subscriptions for around $350.00. I agreed but what they didn't tell me was that if I decided to cancel I would have to pay for all the magazines anyway. So they drafted money out of my account but I got nothing in return. SO I closed my account and then they referred me to a collection agency and a woman named ALISHA called me and was extremely rude to me and talked over me and would not let me get my story out or even talk to me like I am a regualr human being. I am VERY unhappy with this company and I WILL NEVER have anything to do with PCH and I will have everyone I know know that this company is fraudulent and not worth it, no matter how desperate you are for money.

unsolicited call on cell phone
I received a phone call today on my cell from a man claiming to be calling from "Publisher's Clearing House"...a Mr. Allenson. The phone number was 876-374-1455. I looked up the area code and it was listed as "Jamaica"...a split from another area code. He stated that I needed to call him back immediately. That a package from the clearing house was "on it's way!". I haven't filled anything out from them. I am guessing that this is another "scam" to have people call and then they are billed unreal $ amounts on their phones. BEWARE!!!

Harrassing phone calls
I receive multiple phone calls every day where someone from Publisher's Clearing House is trying to reach a "Diana". I have explained that no one by that name exists; I have even called the company and am told that they can't do anything except have a supervisor return my call within 24-48 hours. Since I am often away from the phone, it is a mute point. I have also advised them that I am on the "Do Not Call" registry.

Sweepstakes fraud
I have been sending complaints to Publisher's Clearing House for many days now and have also filed a complaint with the better business bureau. PCH continues to send me e-mails for Sweepstakes submission that state 'no purchase necessary' and every day I receive e-mails that require that I submit before a deadline to be eligible and then deny my ability to submit without making a purchase selection. Any way you look at this, that is FRAUD. You don't tell a consumer that they can participate without purchase and then take away their eligibility every day by denying the ability to submit without making a purchase. I will continue to purse this matter as you have robbed me of my 'opportunity' to participate in your sweepstakes by sending me e-mail that must be submitted to quality and then denying me the option to submit without making a purchase. You can never give me the opportunities back that you have taken away daily. PCH has never replied to my complaints!
