they have my address dont know what else
I received a call from an unknown source that identified themselves as Nationwide Readers Services and also Readers Services. They stated that it was for a sweepstakes promotion and that I was eligible to win $5, 000.00 up to 10, 000.00. They knew my address which I did state was what they had. They asked me my age and what I did for a living. I told Nationwide that I was disabled and my age. They also asked if I had a debit card or any charge card, which I informed them that I used to, but not anymore. They told me about the magazines two different ones which I told them I already received some magazines and I did not want anymore. I asked them for their number and I was told that when I receive their package in the mail the number would be on it. I Asked them how they got my address and the gentlemen told me it was from a sweepstakes promotion from visa, mastercard, etc. A few minutes later a lady named Rita called from Readers Services and told me the same thing about a sweepstakes promotion wherein I could be a winner and asked me my age and my occupation. I told her I was 23 and a clerk typist and that I did not have a debit card or charge card. She also verified my correct address. From Publishers Renewal Services the gentlemen said his name was Mark Price and that my name was chosen for the drawing for Publishers Clearing House. He also had my address and asked my age which I told him because i felt it was not a big deal. (He was the first scammer to call me). I thought I had seen his name on PCH documents before when I use to mail them in for my mother, but I was wrong. I asked him when the drawing was and he said for February 15, 2011. He also asked me if i had a debit or charge card and I told him I used to but not anymore and that i was disabled. I them called PCH to verify if this was a scam which it turned out to be. I did not give them my account number or financial institution .
