Forfeiting Deceased persons money
After the death of our father Mr Hari Singh Saini. We obtained succession certificate from court. We have made cashout from other Banks . But the Branch Manager of Punjab National Bank Defence Colony Hisar Haryana. Has been delaying the payment since three months . All necessary documents have been submitted to the bank . Bank has lost our original Copy of fixed deposit . Which was handed over to the bank. It is requested foro deep investigation of this case this manager and some other men of the Punjab National Bank are forfeiting the public money. Documents submitted to the banksare:
1. Sucession certificate from the honourable court
2. affidevite
3. Death certificate from Municipal committee
4. Individual identity proof.
5. One PNB form dully filled and noterised from court.
What else is required to give the payment if bank has not planned to forfeit the money. Can you give the reason????

Money not withdraw
Dear Sir/Madam,
Today i am going for withdraw the Rs. 10, 000/- from Laxmi Vilas bank ATM at Time tower, MG Road, Gurgaon
When I put my ATM card in ATM Machine and proceed for withdraw of Rs 10, 000/- the ATM Machine indicate "Please wait your transaction is being proceseed", but after some time machine indicated "Your Session is timed out" and finally i can not have recieved any payment from Lakshmi Vilas Bank machine.After that i Checked my balance that time Rs.10, 000/ amount debit from my A/C.
I again put my ATM in ICICI ATM and prceed for Rs. 10, 000/- and i got RS.10, 000/-.
Please see the matter and confirm me.

reckless service
sir,
PNB has some of the most pathetic customer service and treatment i have ever seen in banking. I visited Nalanagar Branch in Hyderabad to deposit cash into my sisters account. There were two tellers for cash collection but only one does the collecting part(no sign boards mentioning who does what), The teller is very slow and sleepy.after around 45 minutes in line he asked me to get the account number verified(when actually he should be having a system and doin it), no where in this world i guess after standing in line for around half an hour a customer is sent back for such reason to get back in line for another hour. PNB is only for people who have either no work or having infinite patience to tolerate such clumsy behaviour.
So people if u are looking for banking services then stay away from PNB.

Lack of communication
Sir,
I Prakash Nautiyal, account holder of Punjab National Bank of Pandu Nagar Branch, KANPUR bearing A/c No. 0746000100208776. For the last 1 week, i am not in Kanpur and went to Dehra Dun for some work. As such, while drawing some amount from P.N.B., E.C. road branch, Dehra Dun, I came to know that my account is inactive from some time. I requested Manager P.N.B., E.C. road and gave him an application to ACTIVATE my account, but he told us that the same would be Activated only from Pandu Nagar branch, Kanpur. Thereafter, I talked to Chief Manager, Pandu Nagar branch, Kanpur and he told us to send an application by FAX to Activat our account. I have faxed the same several times, neither their Fax machine is responding nor the STAFF of the above said branch have any email_id, so that it could be delivered on time. Sir, I my complaint should be considered on below mentioned points :-
1- When my account became INACTIVE, then it was not a duty of the staff of PNB to inform me about the same.
2- I have faxed several times my application to PANDU NAGAR Branch, KANPUR, there was no response from other side. Either they have malfunctioned fax machine or they are not taking my problem seriously.
3- When the systems are online and all the staff are working on NET, the staff of PANDU NAGAR Branch, KANPUR are having no emial_id to receive the mail and applications. (I am attaching two OK REPORT copies of fax for your kind consideration).
Hope you will consider the above facts, and register my complaint and try to improve the drawbacks of BANK FUNCTIONING.

Non reactivation of account
I and my wife are holder of a Savings Bank Account in Punjab National Bank GD 24, Sector III, Salt Lake, Kolkata – 91. Our savings Account No. is 0139542. As per my records, an amount of Rs. 15, 000 /- was last withdrawn on 09.09.2008. Recently, I had deposited a cheque ( No. 795197 dated 01.02.2011) for Rs. 1, 000/- for clearing from your bank at S.B.I., Bangur Avenue, Kolkata - 55. But surprisingly, the Memorandum issued shows that my cheque was dishonoured by the bank, under Code No. 56, reason shown Inactive Account and returned to me. . Instead of reactivating my account, my cheque has been returned. Bank was asked to reactivate my account under intimation to me vide my letter to PNB dated 07.02.2011 received by them. The same elicited no response. I am 80 plus, wife is also unwell. Could not operate account on health grounds. Please do the needful.

Delayed working & Ignorance towards customres
Dear Sirs,
I want to file some complaints about working system & Ignorance by Staff -members of Punjab National Bank, Balotra Branch( in Barmer District).I have a Saving Bank account(A/c no. 0551001500003877 in the name of "Samta Kumari Balar"). I have applied for net banking. For this, i filled up the required form almost about 3 months ago. When i went to branch to get user id & password, they told me that i have to fill another form because the form has lost. i filled the form second time. when i approached them for user id & password, they told me that userid & password have been allocated as against first form. so, these are to be cancelled. & i had to fill for third form.& tone of the office was so irrespectful & non-cooperative. & till now, i have gone there 40 times.they asked me to come another day, day-alter-day, week after week. They don't respect their clients & their time.even, this is their duty towards their customers. 3 months is not a lesser time.Also, they refuse to do entries in my passbook.tell me how can i check my account details. What the non-sense is being going on? If they can't serve their customers, then why do they approach them to open accounts. i want to let my complaint reached to the Regional office, jodhpur & Head office, Chandigarh also. This branch staff members have got rotten.you can also see that because of them, 3 managers have been changed in a year.please, change them otherwise clients will have to take some bitter steps . this also reduce the reputation of the bank. Very Poor Mobile Banking Service
I am a customer of Punjab National Bank. Several months ago I opt for Mobile Banking of PNB. For the first time the Password was so blurred that it was unable to guess. I went to branch and ask them to try. When the password was entered wrong for 5 times the account was freeze. Here we can note that anybody who knows the user ID can block your internet banking or mobile banking. And the userid is openly given on the Passbook. When asked for next password it came after 1 months. In State Bank of India you get the password the same day. The transaction password was used to expire after 3 months. Though there is facility in the application to change the transaction password you cannot change it because after clicking entering Current Password, New Password, Reenter New Password and pressing Ok nothing happens the screen do no go forward. I got new password 3 months after application. Now my mobile says please download new application. When I go to download new application it gives the screen attached herewith. It says click on SAVE button to download. And the download button is not displaying anywhere. When contacted on these numbers 1 8 0 0 1 8 0 2 2 2 2, 011-23708151 / 23716659. It continuously says The number is busy please dial after sometime. When mailed on [email protected] there is no replay anytime. I contacted for more than 5 times.

didn't got cash fron atm
I WANT TO STATE THAT I HAVE USED MY ATM CARD NO.5126520082709846 OF PUNJAB NATIONAL BANK.MY ACCOUNT NO. 0725003008526 AND I TRIED TO WIDRWAL RS.900/- (NINE HUNDRED) FROM SBI ATM BRANCH CHHANDAMETTA ON 16 NOV.2010. BUT I DIDN'T GOT THE CASH AND MY ACCOUNT WAS DEBITED.

disposal of cash from atm
ON 15 OCTOBER 2010 IN PNB ATM I TRIED TO WITHDRAW A AMOUNT OF RS.15, 000 BUT IT SAID WAS INVALID SO I ENTERED RS.3.000 AND RECEIVED AND AGAIN I ENTERED RS.15, 000 I NOT RECIEVED THE AMOUNT BUT MY BALANCE SHOWED THAT I HAD WITHDRAWN RS.15, 000. I COMPLANIED THROUGH PHONE BANKING AND THEY SAID WITH IN 12 WORKING DAYS THE MONEY WILL BE RETURNED BUT I HAD NOT RECEIVED TILL NOW MY COMPLAINT NO IS 50741871. I HAD WAITED FOR MORE THAN 25 DAYS I ALSO SENT MAIL REGARDING THIS BUT NO PROPER REPLY DURING THIS DIWALI FESTIVAL OCCASSION I HAD LOOSED MY AMOUNT. I HAD LENDED MONEY TO CELEBRATE THIS FESTIVAL WILL THEY TAKE PROPER ACTION??????????????
