Do not use them
We had our dog at Puppy Pals for a week while we were out of the country. Lynn at Puppy Pals seemed a little scattered - but seemed like she truly loved dogs and it would be a fun safe environment for our pet. We left our dog there and specified the date of pick up. Lynn said it was fine. The first few days of our trip were lovely - Lynn sent us pictures of our dog playing and all seemed fine. Then things got very bizarre. Lynn and her associate Sherri started sending us some strange emails that contradicted each other. They would say we could not pick up our dog on the designated day - then 2 hours later write it was OK. Then the next day threaten us with calling the cops if we showed up to get our dog, threatened us that their dog would attack us, and even threatened us that they, or their neighbors would shoot us if we showed up. This made for a very stressful situation since we were a half a world away. The last email we received said again it was OK for us to get our dog on the designated date. We showed up and she had blocked off both her driveways and left a note on the door saying our dog was inside and it was illegal for us to pick it up. No one would come out and help us, she would not answer her phone. So we got our dog and left. We received another email the next day saying we would be subject to fines for the illegal pickup (that we have written permission for). She charged us $200 more than she should have. THese people are clearly unstable. They should not be allowed to deal with other humans or their beloved pets. Do NOT use Puppy Pals in Llano www.puppypals.com
