I AM 61 YRS OLD AND WHAT A FOOL I WAS, TO FALL FOR SUCH A SCAM AS THIS COMPANY HAS, ONE MINUTE AFTER I HAD FILLED IN THE FORM AND GAVE THEM MY DEBIT CARD NUMBER, I KNEW IT WAS A SCAM... I CALLED MY BANK AND TRIED TO HAVE THE PAYMENT STOPPED, THEY WOULD NOT DO THIS FOR ME.. I WAS TOLD CANCEL YOUR ORDER OR YOUR DEBIT CARD... I HAD ALREADY READ THAT YOU COULD NOT CANCEL THE ORDERS, FROM READING COMPLAINTS, ONLINE..SO I HAD TO CANCEL MY DEBIT CARD... I COULD NOT LOOSE ANY BIG AMTS . OF MONEY..
MY SON WORKS FOR THE FBI, AND WHEN I CALLED HIM, AND TOLD HIM WHAT HAPPENED, HE SAID TURN IT IN TO THE FBI, MOM..SO I BEGAN MY PLAN, I CALLED THE NUMBER AND ON THE SECOND TIME THEY ANSWERED, I TOLD THEM HOW ANGRY I WAS TO BE SCAMMED, AND THAT I HAD ALREADY CANCELLED MY CARD, THEY COULD NOT CHARGE ME ANYMORE, I INFORMED THEM I WAS TURNING THIS IN TO THE FBI.. AND THE NEXT 2 DAYS, THEY CALLED ME ON THE PHONE, FIRST TWO CALLES I DIDN'T ANSWER, NOT KNOWING WHO IT WAS, THIRD CALL I PICK UP ON.. THEY ASK FOR ME BY NAME AND ASK ME IF I KNEW THAT I WAS ENROLLING IN THEIR CLUB, WHEN I ASK FOR THE FREE SAMPLE, I SAID NO, NO.. AND REMINDED HIM THEY COULD NOT GET ANYMORE MONEY FROM ME... I THEN EMAILED THEM WITH THE FACTS THAT I DISCOVERED ON THEIR WEBSITS, WITH PROOF THAT THEY WERE SCAMMING PEOPLE... WELL THE NEXT DAY THEY CHANGED THEIR SITES.. REMOVING SOME PICTURES OF A GIRL CLAIMING TO BE TWO PEOPLE WITH THE SAME STORY OF WEIGHT LOSS.. BUT I HAD ALREADY COPIED THESE PAGES.. AND ALSO COPIED THE LATER, WHICH I AM TURNING OVER TO THE FBI.. I FEEL FOR ALL YOU, JUST AS I FELT FOR MYSELF, KNOWING WHAT THOSE KINDS OF WITHDRAWALS FROM MY MONEY, WOULD KILL ME.. I FEEL VERY GLAD THAT WHEN I STOPPED MY DEBIT CARD THE 5.95 WAS THEN PUT BACK IN MY ACCOUNT, BUT I PAID 30.00 DOLLARS TO STOP MY CARD... I WANT THIS MONEY BACK FROM PURE ACAI BERRY... PLEASE STOP YOUR CARDS FOLKS ... WE NEED TO STOP THESE SCAMS..

Who knows where this company is or what they do. They get peoples info and setup monthy charge at an exorbitant price for a product that doesn't work and then do not allow for any return after the first 60 days which is not enough time to decide whether it works or not. They say they will then cancel you when you finally get ahold of them. I have yet to see. I have just had $239.28 stolen from me under a scam for worthless pills.

I ordered the free trial. It gave you an option for a "Green Tea" offer. I opted not to get the Green Tea offer. I checked in with my bank to see my charges and I found out they charged for the Green Tea offer anyway. I called and pressed all the options available for getting in touch with a live person only to get recordings, they ask for all my information on the recording saying once it's received they will cancel my order accordingly. Not a happy customer here. Beware of small print on any "FREE" trials offer.

I was going to purchase the Acai product but then read the fine print (It IS there). It is the typical "you must cancel within 14 days otherwise your credit card will be changed $79.99". I tend to forget to cancel so I NEVER sign up for these types of "free trials". I don't have the time to fight with my credit card company. I am not sure if the product works as I never ordered it. I may just go to GNC as someone else suggested without the risk of a monthly charge on my credit card. Just some friendly advice :)

Consumers please contact better business or any other consumer fraud company that you can engage to get this scam company stopped. This company cannot let this many complaints go unheard. Also this company is putting your info on a mailing list and selling your info. Cancel your card immediately. I received a phone call at work which I know was provided by this Acai company because it is a fairly new number and have not used it on the internet. They were sending me a gas card free (you know what this means) and they had the last 4 digits of my credit card. I asked and they said i would have to call there home office to find out who provided the number, I already know but will call since I reported my card stolen which it is since this company passed my credit card info. So I will get my justice by pursuing ACAI of stolen credit card fraud.
