Pure Acai Berries Reviews

Unauthorized charges
Acai Berry sent me a free trial except for shipping of 3.87. Then without my authorization or approval they sent me another bottle 5 days after they took 79.86 from my account. I never agreed to continue with this product. Never signed anything or verbally told anyone. This is a real scam, and they should be stopped. This company also used Oprah Winfrey's name associated with this product. I had originally tried to get the free sample on line and it wouldn't go thru, then a few hours later I get this phone call from the company. I guess I should have been smart enough to figure something smelled fishy.

Scam charges
I read the complaint about the person that tried ACAi Berry free Trail for $3.99. I did the same thing, but I also read their terms. I called after 7 days, (you should have 10 days to cancel this membership). Finally after 37 minutes of music, a customer service rep answered, when I told him that I wanted to cancel further shipments and billings, he was extremely rude and started to argue that this product was already ready for shipments. He finally told me, "Okay I canceled your membership" and hung up. So I called again the next day and gave up after being on hold for 39 minutes. The next day I gave up after being on hold for 34 minutes. Finally, I stayed on the phone until I finally got someone. This person did not see my cancellation and again started to argue with me. Finally, he agreed to cancel my membership. Sever days later, I learned that only the shipment was canceled and my credit card was charged $89.31. Now I have to deal with this charge. But since they do not answer their phones, my credit card people are handling this. So I believe they do not answer their phones promptly so that people can not cancel their orders. What a rip off!

Unauthorized billing
I ordered in July 2008; returned two bottles unopened, unused because I experienced stomach pain with the sample bottle I received. When I was still using the sample, I received two bottles I was charged for on my credit card. I returned the product approximately July 25, 2008. My charge card still has an $88 charge on it. I have not been credited for returning the product. I have e-mailed their support@acaiberry many many times. I have called and it sounds like someone with a hangover answering the phone.

Terrible experience
When you signed up for the free sample, you enlisted in a monthly delivery plan. The terms and conditions link is on the webpage but most people would not even look at it. I missed reading it, I was automatically mailed the monthly supply, and also charges were posted on my credit card.
The webpage for the terms and conditions:
https://acai.secure9.com/contact.php?HF=true&cmd=terms
There is a cancellation clause and return policy, read them carefully. I believe you can return the product and get a refund, but the wording is a bit tricky so I’m not so sure. I’m going to try it. The website for cancellation is:
http://gohelpnow.com
You will need your email or credit card to cancel I guess it is not a scam but more like a trap.

Unauthorized billing
I also thought I was ordering a one-time sample, then was surprised to find charges added to my credit card account. I did not agree to any number of deliveries, automatic or otherwise, unless they were cleverly concealed.
I did get the sample and then another bottle came and I started suspecting. Then the charges were added to my account and paid, and I also found myself in the company of people getting trapped. There is so much fine print, added agreements, etc.
Thank you David--I went to the site and tried to cancel; we'll see how it turned out.
I'm writing off what they charged so far.

Unauthorized charge
I ordered a sample of this product for payment of $4.50 (postage)Never authorized charge of 74.76 dated 8/24/08 in addition.
When I called the number indicated on the credit card invoice, there is no response. A second time, a male voice ask to leave a message. After doing so, "I am sorry the mail box is full"
This is criminal.

unauthorized charges
I ordered a sample of acai berries to try it out. I only received the sample yesterday, and was charged $74.76, on my debit card. I haven't even got to try the product for the full ten days. I want to cancel this product and be refunded the $74.76 taken out of my account without my authorization.

No longer want this product, but can't resolve
I don't want this product. Per my Doctor's advise I should not take these supplements. However, I can't find a telephone number or Customer Service contact information of this company in order to cancel the delivery of these pills at $79.99. This is definitely a scam and should be pulled from doing business on line.
