Beware
Purchased a corgi puppy that arrived on Friday, by Sunday evening - she was fighting for her life. Was hospitalized for a week for PARVO. My vet say's the incubation period is 5-7 days for this virus. So that means she was shipped out with this disease. Contacted pure bred breeders and they stated they would cover the cost of the hospital up to the total cost of the dog. When I mentioned it may cost more than I paid for the dog - they suggested I have the dog put to sleep, they would send me another corgi.
Beware of these people, its all albout money for them. I'm happy to say the puppy is doing fine now.

BOUGHT MALTESE RECEIVED NOTHING
I PURCHASED A VERY EXPENSIVE MALTESE FROM PUREBRED BREEDERS THE FIRST OF MARCH, 2011. THE PRICE WAS FOR $1500 plus expenses. THE BREEDER, WHO I DO NOT KNOW NOR HAVE I HAD ANY CONTACT WITH TOOK THE DOG TO A MAN BILL KELLER, 1961 Simpson Drive, Tupelo, Ms. 38804 …..I DO NOT KNOW NOR HAVE I EVER MET THIS MAN. I HAVE TALKED TO HIM BY PHONE AND HE STATED THAT HE WOULD NOT RELEASE THE DOG AND CONSIDERED IT A GIFT!!! HE ALSO STATED HIS DAUGHTER HAS ABUSED THE PUPPY AND HE WAS STRESSED BY THE DOG, AS HE IS A CAT PERSON. I HAD EMERGENCY SURGERY ON MY RIGHT EYE, OR THE DOG WOULD HAVE BEEN SENT TO ME BY AIR OR THE BREEDER COULD HAVE DRIVING THE PUPPY TO ME. BILL KELLER STATED THAT HE IS AN ATHEIST/AGNOSTIC AND HE HAS NO CONCIOUS AND I EVEN OFFERED TO SELL HIM THE DOG FOR $1500 AND I COULD GET ANOTHER ONE. HE STATED HE HAS NO MONEY AND HE ASSISTSN A VETERIAN IN TUPELO "A COUPLE OF DAYS A MONTH". HE HAS LIED AND LIED AND PURBRED BREEDERS HAS INDICATED "TOO BAD", NOT OUR PROBLEM. IT IS THEIR PROBLEM AND ALSO THE BREEDER AND THIS MAN NAMED BILL KELLER IS A SCAM ARTIST AND CONVINCES PEOPLE BECAUSE HE IS A "VET ASSISTANT", HE WILL KEEP THEIR ANIMAL FOR A SHORT WHILE. HE TOOK ADVANTAGE OF ME IN MY DARKEST HOUR. PUREBRED BREEDERS IS TOTALLY RESPONSIBLE AS I PAID THEM FOR THE DOG, AND THEY WILLINGLY GAVE THE PUPPY TO AN UNKNOWN SOURCE.
IS THERE ANYONE OUT THERE WHO CAN HELP ME? MARTHA

Complete scam
We spent a lot of money and were sent a very sick puppy. He was sick from the day we got him. He had intestinal parasites and had severe diarrhea, many times in our house, for several months. It cost us over $700 to treat his illness. After giving me the run-around for several weeks, they refused to pay for the immense cost of treating him. They even tried to blame his illness on us. Never purchase a puppy from these people. They have horrible customer service and only care about getting your money. They are an extremely unethical company that knowingly sells unhealthy animals.

Sick Puppy
My so-called healthy puppy arrived weak and dehydrated. When I took her to my vet, she said that my little Trixie would probably not make it through the night. When I called Purebred Breeders for help I was put on hold and when someone finally did answer, she said she would have to get back to me. 2 hours passed and no call back, so this time I asked for a manager. I was told that the owner, Jason Halberg, does not speak with customers and someone else would get back to me. Still waiting...and growing angrier day by day...

Jason Halberg-Shameful
Purebred Breeders aka Buypuppiesdirect.com is a front for puppy mills. The owner, Jason Halberg doesn't care about dogs, only money. Do not buy a puppy from this web site.

Irresponsible sale of puppies
I purchased my puppy a year ago and Purebreed Breeeders guaranteed me that the puppy would be flying in cabin accompanied by a person. We paid extra for that and an additional amount for a direct flight. It turned out that the puppy traveled cargo and had a layover in Phoenix. The poor dog was in the cage all day and arrived in PA in the evening. She was scared, dirty, hungry and cold. She had parasites for a very long time and has problems with her legs. Nobody from Purebred Breeeders wanted to take responsibility for that. We learned afterwards that we should have researched more and never purchased our puppy that way. She is a happy dog now and we would never give her away regarding her medical conditions. However it does cost us a lot in vet bills. We will never purchase a dog online anymore and only support local shelters! Please learn from our experience!!!Do not support puppy mills!!!

Sick greedy
Horrible. They have a listing on craigslist for an accountant because there business is booming. They boast over 1700 different websites. Horrible that millions of animals are put to death and these people are pure greed to make money off of breeding animals for a profit. Just horrible
Stay away and go to your local animal shelter and give your money and love there instead of these people who just line there pockets.

NO Paperwork
We purchased a 8week old Rottweiler and were promised the certification paperwork to show he was purebred. He is now almost 5months and haven't heard anything from them despite our trying to contact them for his paperwork.
He also came with worms and a parasite despite them assuring us he had been de-wormed and was 100% healthy.
I suspect he was from a puppy mill because the first few days he was afraid of walking.

Don't let these middlemen get you
My point is this: Research and get your new puppy from an AKC breeder. I take full responsibility for contacting an online middleman to find my new puppy. It was a huge mistake. They will say anything to get you to buy a puppy, including "someone else is interested in your puppy--if you want her send your money NOW" and "yes, you can talk with the breeder" which I never was allowed to do. Then, you never talk to the same person who sold you the puppy again. The rude receptionist asks questions and transfers you to whoever she thinks you should talk to. Yes, people are nice (except for the receptionist)--but they are middlemen trying to make a ton of money. I had lots of questions for the breeder, which I could not ask until the day we picked our puppy up. The answers I got were NOT what purebredbreeders.com told me whatsoever. The breeder was very honest and forthcoming. It's my fault--my trusting nature got me again. Don't let these middlemen get you.

Puppy fraud
I previously filed a complaint about this puppy. But, as of today, I have not received any resolution. The dog was misrepresented (had undisclosed surgery on nostrils), did not come with
a certificate of examination by licensed vet as promised, and has genetic malformation of hips, knees, & stifles. This dog has doubled in size and is no longer ambulatory and gets about by pulling herself along thru use of front feet only. This company does not breed dogs, but acts as broker for puppy mills. Their guarantees and promises are worthless. I have been forced to incur, at their insistance, many vet bills including multiple x-rays and examinations by two different vets. Although we have cooperated and complied with their demands for proof of genetic problems, they continue to stall and not refund purchase price or replace dog with an acceptable & healthy replacement.
