On 02.08.09 I was on yahoo to check my email. I noticed to the right of the page a testimonial that the product, "Purity 12" is a pro-biotic supplement that promotes colon health. I thought it might be a great way to keep my body healthy so I ordered, under the condition that I would be sent a free trial bottle if I paid the shipping charge of $4.95.
When I did my banking online this month, I saw that I was charged the $4.95 on 02.11.08, but to my surprise I was charged an ADDITIONAL $74.95 on 03.02.09. I immediately called the company, Panalabs, which has their number, 866-874-5685 on the bottle's label-- only to receive a busy signal on each attempt to contact them. I then thought to go online and perhaps cancel and attempt any recovery of charges through their website, but to no avail. They have no website!!! I have since learned my lesson not to order anything from a company without going to their direct website, reading all terms and conditions, and acquiring confirmation numbers. However, I am very concerned that my bank account has been accessed... and quite possibly will be hit again by this company that I cannot contact. What to do???
On the verge of angry panic,
